HI everyone! is there anybody here who will have their medical exam at ST. Luke's this month? anybody who just finsihed their medical exam? are they really strict? im am getting anxious and nervous about it. i will be having mine at the end of this month? any good hotels near SLEC that you can recommend? thanks!

thanks for your reply rebelheart. im on IR1 , and the appointment letter is for my interview, i think i should have my medical earlier, to avoid any complications and delays, Im from the visayas and my husband is coming so he can accompany me to manila, he will be arriving on the weekend and i planned to have my medical on monday the same week as my interview w/c happens on a friday. hmmmm another thing to worry about, i am really getting nervous and anxious about this, but i always have my regular medical check ups here because i have allergies and i am asthmatic, i have kept all my medical records, immunizations and xrays. how long does it usually take for SLEC to give the medical results to the embassy?

will i be able to finish and complete my medical exam in time for my interview if ill have it 4 days before my interview? do i have to secure another NBI clearance and NSO marriage certificate and birth certificates even if i have already submtted the original documents to the NVC? where shall i pay the visa fee? do i have to call the embassy and confirm my appointment? my husband already recieved the appointment letter. can anyone share their experiences. thanks and God bless?

Thanks! when i checked on the appointment link yesterday i couldnt believe it i thought i typed the wrong case number so i did it again and it really is true, it took me quite a long time before it sinked in my mind but i am really happy. my next question is what are the good hotels near ST. lukes? after the interview how many days will you be able to receive your visa?

WOOOOOOHOOOOO! YEHEYYYYY! AFTER 4 YEARS OF WAITING I FNALLY I GOT MY INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT DATE! this coming nov. 20. im from the visayas how many days before nov 20 should i go there before my medical?

my husband called the embassy today, the new list hasnt been made yet and as usual they always tell us to call them back next week or next month, ive heart it a dozen times already . i just hope i will be included in the december list. Good luck to all of us!

Good luck to you joeandanalyn, i know how you feel, youre lucky to be waiting for 2 years, in my case its almost 5 years since we got married and still i havent got my interview appointment, we got the approval letter october of last year and up to now i still dont have any appointment. good luck and god bless!

Yes the PDF is trash.

The appointment page...welcome to the club I checked it twice a day for weeks...appointment not found in list. Until yesterday it worked showed both the Medical and interview dates. Just keep checking it.

i try the 203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp link everyday but always seem to get the same answer that my case number is not yet on the appointment list, we call the embassy every week and we are always told to call next week or call next month because the list is not yet completed.

i just called the Embassy and after giving my case number was told no appointment yet. operator knew question i'd ask. she said a December was most likely and to try calling same time next month. the November appointments have already been filled. i expected it to probably be a Dec. interview, but why do they have to wait so long to set the date. i try calling DOS tomorrow to see if told same thing.

roymcn3rd we called the embassy yesterday and they told us that my case number is not included in the october list and she told us to call the embassy again next month to see if im on the november list, if the november appointments are already filled i might not be on that list again, i hope ill hear something from the embassy soon, i have been waiting since 2002!

Storm, Day 1 of the 120 day wait starts on the day the embassy receives your "physical file". When NVC says "your file has been transferred to embassy", it usually means "electronic transfer" and we don't count electronic transfer as Day 1.

You need to call the embassy to know the exact date that they physically received your case file and only then can you start counting 120 days to guesstimate your interview date.

120 days? we were informed by the NVC last may that the documents that we submitted for the instruction packet were already complete and our documents were being forwarded to manila, until now i havnt received any packet 4 or whatever letter from the embassy, i just called manila embassy this morning and said that my case number is not included for the october schedule of appoinments and she told me to call back next month. its been more than 120 days!

It is better to cal the 011-63-2-538-6300 because you are speaking to the Embassy staff and not the call center. By the by, if it's not sensitive, what information are you trying to obtain?
