I can actually share my experience now! So my interview was past Tuesday and it was horrible. Officer was rude and with attitude all he did is made me cry, cause nothing was enough. Everything they asked for we had and he didn't even take a look. He kept saying that it doesn't mean anything to him. We had join account statements, Life and health insurance, Past 2 years Tax returns with direct deposit statement, credit cards, W2, joint business account. So everything we could have a were asked but not limited. Also I'm 31 weeks pregnant. All he kept saying that it doesn't mean anything. It took about 20 minutes and he made me so nervous that I was shaking, after all he asked was what religion we were, and sent us home without answer. We are just waiting for mail. I'm freaking out cause We have no idea what's next.

Received a letter from USCIS on Friday. I've been called for an Interview.

Must admit I'm pretty disappointed. I know sometimes interviews are selected at random, but can't help but feel a little down that the letter wasn't to inform me of an approval.

I'm not too worried about the interview itself, I know my wife and I will breeze through it, but the worst part is that it isn't for another six weeks! Then, as far as I've read on here, you don't get an answer for a couple of weeks or so after that.

So looks like I have another couple of months to go before I can even hope for an approval. And now I have to gather a whole bunch of documental proof of our ongoing relationship all over again. This sucks.

Also it means they started digging your case a bit earlier than for the average of July 2016 filers. I guess you received your interview notice around a month ago while they were still processing June filers.

I am wondering how long they will take for decision.

I got an interview invitation in the mail today for end of September, end of July filer, CSC. Frustrating, but at least some news. Hopefully they started looking at July filers finally, because my case was sent to my local field office beginning of July. Funny thing, earlier today I called USCIS Tier 2 and asked about my case, they said it is still pending, no news. Also few month ago I submitted change of address form, they confirmed it, the officer confirmed it and they still sent it to my old address. Few questions regarding the interview:

    1. They requested "affidavit of third parties, that should be supported by documentary evidence and must be sworn to or affirmed by at least 2 people" - does it have to be notarized? And what kind of evidence can I provide with those statements?

     2. If I'm married to US citizen, does it mean that we file jointly? Because it says in that case that my spouse should be at the interview with me, or they might delay my application, and he is out of the country and will be at the time of interview:(.

    What is ur local office?
