Applied N-400 in April 2018.
Got combo interview on Monday (5/13/19)
Got oath, became USC today - Thursday (5/16/19)

Yes, we passed the I751 portion and we should be pleased and happy about that, but the gut punch we got before we started made the experience feel miserable. We came with (2) large binders with over 300 pages of proof of our legitimate marriage. I had originals in one and exact duplicates in the other. We had a table of contents disclosing where in the binder you could find birth certificate or passports or green card or tax transcripts or utility bills or House deed or insurance info or life insurance policy or photos or greeting cards... etc etc. She never once asked for any document other than our drivers licenses that she kept until the end of the interview. The binder sat next to us the entire time. So here is how it went.

I'm sorry to hear about all this. But happy that its still towards the completion in near future. I have a that feeling about approving I-751 first then N-400 afterwards.
The interview letter I received doesn't say 'combo' anywhere at all. It just says M-400 naturalization interview. Though I still have ROC pending.
Should I be concerned? Well, I'll know by Monday anyway.
Your feedback definitely helps. At least to set my expectations. And of course the process. Thank you!!

Did they pass your I751? What was your experience and how tough that interview was?
I'm asking because I have a combo interview on coming monday and wanted to know if this technical difficulty is wide spread and known for all the locations or just where you were?

Originally CSC I-751 ROC applicant - Applied N-400 in April/2018 from Dallas, TX. Got N-400 interview letter today. It doesn't indicate anywhere that it will be a combo interview or anything about ROC/I-751 but I suppose it will be!

I've also received my Interview letter about 12 months of applying N-400 with pending ROC. Updated my timeline above.

Almost same for me too. I-751 in Feb 2017 (CSC),
N-400 in April 2018. Status still says 16 months more (I think for Dallas)
Got case transfer letter in December 2018
Got I-551 infopass stamp in January 2019 (few days ago), officer told me that I might have to get another year or stamp before you finally be called in for probably a combo interview. I hope it doesn't linger on for that long.

So it turned out that it wasn't an approval letter afterall.
They sent me another Receipt Letter mentioning that in addition to the previous letter you have received that extended your PR to tenure of one year after expiration of your GC, this letter extends it further out 6 months. So it will serves as a letter that authorizes your stay for 18 months from the date of expiry mentioned on your GC.
I'm sad. I don't know if anyone else received a second letter of receipt on their ROC or am I a special case?

Before submitting my N-400 application, sometimes in March - my I-751 status updated to the following:
Case Was Received At My Local Office
On March 5, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

All updates came online.No physical letters received in the past about any transfers to the local office.
Today, the only notification I received for any update was that "there's no update at the moment" standard email that we receive every 2-3 weeks from USCIS.
The online statuses both on MyAccount.uscis.gov or Case Status sites are still showing in progres with no updates in past few months.

I had that question in mind too. I don't see any update on both myaccount.uscis.gov or the regular uscis case status sites. Also, No notifications on my cellphone.

Thanks for your reply. I just filed my N-400 finally yesterday. I was happy to see the speed when people who applied back in feb have already got their interviews and some got oath ceremonies coming up too. But then I thought if they were just normal happy scenario ppl without pending ROCs that are getting approvals. So I was just wondering....

I assumed NOA is same as Receipt Notice for online filers.

I filed my application yesterday. Couple of questions:
1) the application processing time shows up as 26 months, is this normal for everyone?
2) the wait time shows up as 2 months, is this normal for everyone as well?
Is this standard messaging or special for my case?

February 2017 CSC Filer. No N-400 filed yet.
Looks like they are going to send some form of communication based on the case history.
I see this in my case history from ELIS system
While the regular Case Status from USCIS website shows this just like most of the folks here on ROC:

I had my n-400 online application 100% filled and ready. Including attachments. I just had to pay and hit submit. I stopped just because I didn't want to reschedule my biometric appointment etc. Sad that I wouldn't be joining you guys N-400 Feb filers guild. I'll be a visitor every now and then though.
Hopefully March, i'll be in.

I am going to travel on 23rd march.. a long haul flight abroad. On the way out I'll be alone. On the way back, I'll have my citizen family (spouse, kids) accompanying me.

No matter what time I tried it didn't work, other than 1am in the morning. I saw plenty of slots that quickly just disappeared by 3am.
I was looking for appointment at dallas office.
