Very normal, some only get their appointment a year or more after filing. USCIS have no use for your fingerprints right now, they won't pick up your case anytime soon to start go through it. Once they do, a long time from now, they need your fingerprints unless they can reuse the old ones.

I sent my docs on May 2nd, received text May 9th and got the letter on May 13th. 

I am worried I haven't heard about the biometrics appointment.

Is this normal??
