The problem is that if she goes back before she gets her green card she will not be allowed to come back to the states because she forfeited her K1 Visa and didn’t go to the green card interview correct? It’s a tough one. I feel she is very homesick but also see her change her pics on FB with me no longer in them and pics of her back home with her family.

A lot of good points and ideas here. I do not think she is here at all she loves the Philippines and is very tight with her family. She was also a nanny and loves kids just wants one of her own which I am 46 and have two teens. I thought maybe I wanted another one but after fighting so much it would not be a good idea. I rally don’t know what her intentions are. She can’t drive which sucks because I am at work for 24hours at a time I know she is bored and depressed. I don’t know which way to go with all this. I think she is a good person with a good heart but loves kids and wants her freedom. Her distancing herself from my kids have been a real problem and also very jealous of my Ex-wife because I have to pay child support and the ex and I get along. I guess in the Philippines they don’t do child support or get divorced like we do here in the states.

I married my wife now that is a Filipina a year ago on a K1 Visa. Things have gotten bad to worse and she has changed 180. We are no longer in love and like oil and water. She has made statements that she wants to go home if we don't have a baby now. She has also made statements that when she gets her green card which our appointment is in 25days she wants to go live with her friend in another state so we can seperate and chill out. These are all red flags and concerned now because we are married and if she leaves how would I get a divorce beacause she does not have a green card in hand to come back to the states. The other thing if she does go to the interview in 25 days she gets her green card and splits. What to do.......

We married before the 90 days. She was just worried about a time line because of how in depth the I-485 is to fill out. Also if we have filled out any thing incorrect do they make you pay the filling fee again? Asking because we went with Rapid visa for our K1 but figured we can do the AOS ourselves.

Question I have. How long do you have before you have to get the I-485 form in?
Thank Q,
Craig

We have just finished with the K1 and married last month. The 90 days are up and have a question on the next step. Is Rapid visa worth all the other? I have heard horror stories that if you don't file the right way you have to pay again and file again. Thanks for all the input...

So we are down to the our medical on May 16th and our interview on May 23nd in Manila. So my question is how long after the interview is it taking to get your visa. Asking because we are planning on booking our flight days after if we can.

The number for NVC is: 1-603-334-0700.
Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time). For the shortest wait time, call early in the morning or late evening.
I called this morning they asked me when I got my letter I told them 03/15/17 they said that my case number will not be ready for six weeks..... Is this a normal time frame to get back the NOA02

We are in the same boat. We received our NOA2 on 03/16/17 waiting on our case number. Can someone let us know what tel number the called to get their case #?

Thank you. Grace is from the Philippines yes, but is a OFW working in Hong Kong. That is the USA Embassy she will go through for our K-1.
Great info though for someone else, and good luck!
This is the same as Elma. She is working in Hong Kong but finishes her contract April first and flies back to Philippines. We filed K1 visa 12.17.16 and received our NOA2 03.17.17

Yes we did file the I765 and I-131 for employment and advanced parole but thought the only time you could leave the country and come back is for emergency situations? This all is very stressful when you go through all this time money and effort to bring someone you love and think will be with forever and they do a 180and put new demands on you.
