  1. A lot of good points and ideas here. I do not think she is here at all she loves the Philippines and is very tight with her family. She was also a nanny and loves kids just wants one of her own which I am 46 and have two teens. I thought maybe I wanted another one but after fighting so much it would not be a good idea. I rally don’t know what her intentions are. She can’t drive which sucks because I am at work for 24hours at a time I know she is bored and depressed. I don’t know which way to go with all this. I think she is a good person with a good heart but loves kids and wants her freedom. Her distancing herself from my kids have been a real problem and also very jealous of my Ex-wife because I have to pay child support and the ex and I get along. I guess in the Philippines they don’t do child support or get divorced like we do here in the states.

  2. I married my wife now that is a Filipina a year ago on a K1 Visa. Things have gotten bad to worse and she has changed 180. We are no longer in love and like oil and water. She has made statements that she wants to go home if we don't have a baby now. She has also made statements that when she gets her green card which our appointment is in 25days she wants to go live with her friend in another state so we can seperate and chill out. These are all red flags and concerned now because we are married and if she leaves how would I get a divorce beacause she does not have a green card in hand to come back to the states. The other thing if she does go to the interview in 25 days she gets her green card and splits. What to do.......

The number for NVC is: 1-603-334-0700.

Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time). For the shortest wait time, call early in the morning or late evening.

I called this morning they asked me when I got my letter I told them 03/15/17 they said that my case number will not be ready for six weeks.....  Is this a normal time frame to get back the NOA02

Thank you.  Grace is from the Philippines yes, but is a OFW working in Hong Kong. That is the USA Embassy she will go through for our K-1.

Great info though for someone else, and good luck!

This is the same as Elma. She is working in Hong Kong but finishes her contract April first and flies back to Philippines. We filed K1 visa  12.17.16 and received our NOA2 03.17.17
