just a quick recap about our case.

same sex couple here our Uscis office is Baltimore Maryland.

so we applied in February but there was a mistake with the papers so it was returned and was received again on end of February .

fingerprinting was a month after then we waited till they assigned our interview on November 16th, the interview went well, all usual questions about how we met and family members names and addresses, nothing out of the ordinary.

the IO told us that we have a strong case and she will try to finish it by same day.

but we didn’t hear from them for 2 whole months so I raised a service request on January 15th and the day after I got the notification that our case was approved ( I don’t think my SR had anything to do with that) and my husband received his actually green card 2 days ago.

hopefully my time line can help someone on here and thank you for all the information you’re sharing.

congratulations to everyone who got their green cards already and best of luck to the ones who’s waiting.

we received our interview notice last week for November 16th in Baltimore Maryland.

we applied in early March (we originally applied in February but was returned because of missing papers) and received RFIE and responded to it in April . Then we received Work permit and AP card in June .

fingers crossed that we get approved on the spot.

I got the same text and it's also about EAD which has been delivered already. Sounds suspicious!

Yes on June 2nd

Our status got changed to card being produced on May 30th and arrived on June 5th.

Quick update 

we received our combo cards today .

we received our combo card in mail today.

just a recap for our timeline

applied March 14th ( marriage based - Maryland )

got RFIE for AOS and answered on April 11th

EAD status changed to mail is being produced on May 30th

approval notice arrived in mail on June 2nd

card was mailed to me on June 2nd

Combo cards arrived in mail June 5th

now back to the waiting game for the interview notice.

Hi everybody 

we got the approval notice of both EAD and AP in mail today. We are expecting to receive the actual card by Monday .

today is day 80 after we applied.

We have an update 

after 2 days of our EAD tracking changed to card is being produced, the status changed to card was mailed to me. Hopefully will get it by Monday or Tuesday.

No one is able to say until you get your approval letters in the mail. You'll get two if both are approved and the EAD letter will say if it's going to be a combo card or not. My AP wasn't updated online until a few days after the EAD, but I got a combo card.

so the status of EAD got changed to ordering new card but the I131 (advanced parole) did t change. Do they come together as a combo or I have to wait separately for it?

Hi everyone 

we submitted our package on March 14th after that we got RFIE for I485 concerning birth certificate. Which we already submitted so we sent it again and they received our response on April 11th.

after following the discussion here I figured we'll have to reset the time to 4/11 . But to my surprise I got a notification today (77 days after the original package submitting) saying that new EAD card is being produced.

very excited here and I hope our timeline can help you figuring out yours.

so we applied in February but papers were rejected and we had to resubmit it on march 14th. Then we got RFIE for birth certificate (which was included in the package. Weird!)

so I figured we have to reset the clock to 4/11 (which was the date they received our response on)

but to my surprise today I got an email saying that EAD card is being produced.

we applied in February but our cases was rejected because of missing biometric fee (don't let me start about our  lawyer)

anyway we resubmitted our papers and was received on march 14th and got all 4 notices on march 26th.

baltimore Maryland center here.

Our lawyer submitted our papers on Friday and it was delivered by Monday the 13th since then We've been waiting anxiously for our NOAs till I got an email today from my lawyer telling me that the biometric fees was not attached in our package and asking me to pay it asap. The lawyer is telling me that will get a notice for the biometric fees but I'm worried that the package will get rejected and we will have to file again( another delay ugh).

the whole idea of hiring a lawyer is make sure the process is going complete and smooth.

you can't believe how frustrated I am now.

Our lawyer just sent our papers (I130 - I485 - I131 - I765) yesterday.

we're very excited and hope our process with end smoothly.

same sex couple here, AOS based on marriage.

our local office will be Baltimore MD.
