    That's what I thought! It's so hard to be in this position and we're really clutching at straws to get things moving. 

     

    It seems that they are still processing from July 2016, so the process in its entirety taking 12 months seems unlikely. 

     

    Does anyone else else have these problems and is there any other routes we should look at? 

  2. My wife has applied for my spouse visa using consulate processing. We were married last September and subbmittted our application in December, following evidnace gathering.

    Two weeks after our Marriage I returned to the U.K, but after researching the current time frame we are concerned that they are still processing from July 2016. 

    If I was to enter under the visa waiver programme, could we change the consulate processing to adjustment of status and would this be quicker?
