I only filed I-129F twice last year but not this time because i was not married by that time. The first I-129F i filed last year 2016 february was denied because i filed before meeting my fiancee as required to meet within two years before you can file I-129F. I then file another I-129F after they denied the first one in June 2016 and was approved but when my fiancee went for the visas interview she was denied visas because they said we are engaged and they asked us to file I-130 because by the time they send the I-129F back to NVC in usa for correction the petition will be expired so they closed the case and gave my wife a letter stating why she was denied and what to file again so i included the letter in the I-130 documents i send this year. I check my case now and it says it was last updated on 3/25/2017 meaning they picked up my case again. My priority date is 2/17/2017
Every time you check it changes the updated day, not because they looked at your file,

I am sure they picked up my case on 3/23/2017 and worked on it. Sometimes they do not go by the priority date like some case get approved earlier than others. This is my 3rd time filing for my wife. I filed i-129F twice last year. The first one was denied because i send the file to uscis before i met my fiancee and the second one was approved and she was denied visas at the usa embassy in Ghana and they wanted to send the case back so NVC for correction so we can file i-130 for them to give he visas but they said the petition would expire by the time NVC gets it back so they closed the case and ask as to file i-130. This is the third time they had received our documents so i think it will go faster as we included the letter for denial from the embassy that explain why the 2nd I-129f was denied for visas aT the interview to the documents we send out
Again the wait time is 5-6 months for I 130 and the same for I 229f. They issue them at the same time so it's useless to file I 129f.

You have about a 6 month wait

That's not the correct date that says AS IF DECEMBER 31, 2016 not the are processing December.

Going through FAST!!
I see you married back in 05 do you think that made your i 130 go faster? I married in 07 so that's why I asked. Also did you get a ir1?

I think if you have applied in IR1 category, it is approved faster. I have applied in F2A category.
I've been married to my husband since 10/07 I sent in my I 130 for him, how do They determine if my application is a cr1 or Ir1? And do the make the change on application? Thanks

Ok cool - so I guess you guys had started the K1 visa and ultimately decided not to move to the US? I don't think your prior attempt to immigrate has much bearing on your current process -- since you weren't denied or anything and just stopped on your own. The government knows that people's plans change, so you should be fine. You might want to be prepared during the interview to explain why you decided to stop the process 8 years ago in case they ask.
On that note, I don't think having a prior approval after the I-130/129F eight years ago will do anything to help your case move along any faster than normal processing times now... a lot of it is luck of the draw with your service center. As you probably know, some are moving much faster than others.
Yes I got stuck with Nebraska what can you tell about them? I see on there site it says July 2 but when I put my timeline together it says I should hear back. Y august

I am not sure I see your question? I just saw your previous post that you and your husband applied 8 years ago and were approved then... How far in the process did you get?
Actually my I 130 and 129f were approved but never went as submitting my 864

Hello everyone so do I write a letter for my I 864? I've been on workers compensation from the federal government for 3 years but still have my job?
-
Hello all submitted my 130 on Jan 28 Noa1 February 2nd.?This is my second time submitting 130, the first was approved by we didn't go through with it. So 8 years later I'm doing it again. Praying that having been approved before helps
-
We were approved before for it so just trying to get a idea how things are going now
-
What's the difference between cr1 and k3
-
So I'm still looking at 4-5 months I guess that's not bad
-
I previously filed I 129f and I 130 for my husband back in 2008 and it had gotten approved but we did not complete the process due to financial reasons. Now we have been married 10 years this year, and I have filed again for my husband and step son. Does anyone know if my previous approvals will help this process go faster?

I'm not going to argue with you about it, you asked a question and I was answering with facts. So enjoy your 5 month wait for that noa2 and 3-4 months for NVC process.
