My name is Melissa. I've been living in Hawaii for almost 2 years now. I'm filing for I-751, my husband and I are separated but he said that he would still help me out with the petition for my permanent green card. If, for some reason, he changes his mind and backs out. What will happen to the filing if it's filed? Would the process be on hold or would it go through?

Our permanent green card is on process right now. I've decided to take my son back to the Philippines once I get our permanent green card. How do I apply for re-entry? And how long can he stay in the Philippines?
