  1. I am a permanent resident since August 2011. I would like to apply for citizenship.

    * I entered the marriage in good faith. We lived together for 4 years in total but after 3.5 years and a bad marriage I met a same sex person online and I left my then husband for her after 5 months. After about three years into the marriage we knew it wasn't going well and I was very unhappy and lonely and got curious to join LGBT groups online. I made an account in a lesbian connections website to make friends mostly. There is where I met her. I let my husband know that I wanted a divorce. He wasn't a bad husband but indifferent to what I wanted and just ignored me and took me for granted. I wasn't the center of his life anymore and I have no friends or family here. To make the story short, I left and my husband filed for divorce in at the beginning of 2017. I married my partner a week ago. Now I have to change my name in the greencard and was looking into the possibility of just applying for citizenship and chsnge my name during the process. My marriage was indeed in good faith, I'm 46 years old and was married to a man before in my country for 15 years, we have two boys together. Then I married my second husband for love but things started to change while we lived together. Now I'm married to a woman. She has been the only same sex relationship ever. I am afraid this could cause some trouble during the naturalización process. What do you think?

  2. Hi guys!

    Just a quick question:

I am in the process of doing my citizenship. They require my travel history and some stamps (2 actually) are missing from my passport (when I left the US) I do have the day I returned in a stamp in my passport but what to do with the departure date that is missing? I lost  my I 94...we are talking 2013... I filled in a request for international travel history in a website called I 94 ...they have less info than what I have in my passport!

How can I prove I was less than 6 months outside then (I have the months I spent abroad but cant remember the exact date). Any ideas? I contacted customs too, waiting for a response.

Any input is more than welcome! thanks
