  1. Husband arrived into The United States yesterday into EWR (Newark NJ) from Quebec City. Border personnel asked him for packet IV. Fortunately he brought the paperwork which came with his passport (which had VISA stamp clearly imprinted inside). He explained that all of the packet IV information was online in CEAC. They made him wait 45 minutes to verify that this was true. When the border personnel returned they asked him what date we were married and the exact address he where he would be living in the United States.  When he answered those questions they let him in. Would recommend you bring the paperwork you get with your stamped passport because the border guards are still unaware of CEAC system. And allow for at least 2.5 hour delay if you have a connecting flight. Hope this helps all of you.

    Sincerely,

    Colette ❤️

  2. Just got interview email!!! Our interview is scheduled for September 8th, 8:00am at the consulate in Montreal.

Our medical exam expires on August 31st 😒.

Any advise on Medisys, how much earlier do we need to do the medical before the interview. And any advice on the interview itself? How long after the approval can my husband come to the United States? And what's this business about courier all about? Cat_Dad? Finayyy? Any advice? ❤️❤️❤️

  3. jle2234, our case was completed around the same time as yours. I call NVC every single day. I'm always told the same thing. "They are currently scheduling August interviews", but that should be coming to an end soon. So I figure we will be included in the September batch 😒

There doesn't seem to be any logic in their choosing, as others got their interview scheduled within 24 hours of their case completion. It's obviously not first finished first served unfortunately 💕

  4. Hi Everyone!  Proud to say after only 3.5 weeks of trying to upload documents with this CEAC website our case is finally complete as of this morning!  Now we are waiting again, this time for the interview date.  We did immediately receive an email informing us that our case is complete.  Any of you know how long interviews take to get scheduled once case is complete?  I saw on the timelines anywhere from 32 to 44 days for spouses going through Montreal Embassy in Canada. But I was wondering if it is less with those who used CEAC system.  Anyone know?

    Cheers,

  5. I also didn't get a welcome email. Just called NVC and as soon as I got the case number and invoice number I paid my fees.

fees took 2-3 days to post. Then you can go back in and start uploading.

ADVISE: When uploading use only INTERNET EXPLORER. And upload one document page at a time. Believe me not knowing this caused my a 10 day delay.

Be prepared to log back in several times as the website kicks you out constantly, it is a frustrating thing because logging back in is annoying. But keep at it! Much love to all of you. Your comments are so helpful when the system can be so un-helpful 💕

hey Bernard. For the PIVOT system, there is a separate thread (link below). I am still waiting for case number, therefore haven't encountered this problem yet but I think I read some folks on the PIVOT thread encountering it (page 5 of the thread). Hopefully this helps.

Thank you Toronto 88! I tried logging on using Safari and got a very strange message, attached below. I entered the correct "I'm not a robot" letters and numbers and it came back with that error message. I will contact NVC tomorrow and see what can be done.

Just so you know USCIS approved our NOA2 on May 8th, sent it out on May 18th. NVC received it on May 25th and I called NVC every single day and finally got the new NVC case number and invoice number on June 9th (Friday). Hope that helps give you an idea of when you will get your number. Thanks for the help 👍

  7. We are processing through the new PIVOT system via Consular Processing via US Embassy in Montreal, Canada. Just got my NVC case number yesterday (June 9, 2017). Tried TWICE to pay online fees for application fee and Affidavit of Support. When I hit "submit" button a small white box flashed briefly at the center of the screen with a message I couldn't read (it was too fast). Today I logged in and nothing said "pending". Anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you have to do to continue with the process. Without payment confirmation you can't access the rest of CEAC site...😕
