Fly over in November, come for a week, Immigrate at POE. then return back to UK to tidy up loose ends and return in Jan/Feb. Will this work?

My son has his visa issued, he plans to move over in January. My Question is - Can he pop over for a week in november under ESTA?

You can apply for a second UK passport?

Can my son travel to Europe, whilst the passport is still at the USA embassy in London? Any ideas?

Its an immigrant visa. So just pay the fee and wait for the 10 year green card to arrive. He doesn't need to do AOS or anything else?

So the boy got good news at his London interview. I would appreciate some answers to the following.

Does he have to pay an immigrant fee of $220

Does he have to file more paperwork to get an EAD card / Green Card

Will he have to goto Biometrics in Texas to make the Green Card appear

How long does it take to get from Dept of State to London?

What is the next stage - now we have a letter saying 'Case was sent to Department of State' Will he get letters sent to him in UK detailing what to do?

Can someone answer the following questions for me.

Does he need a medical from Knightsbridge?

He will have an interview in London?

He will wait for the Sealed Package?

He will get his passport back with visa attached inside?

He has 90 days to set sail for Houston?

OR Can he delay setting sail for Houston? If so what is the implication?
