As a disabled veteran, I don not receive a w2 or a tax refund. What do I send to the NVC in place of my tax forms?

Do you receive social security income as a disable veteran. You can use that in replacing of your income tax. Your tax return is to verify your income so that your foriegn relatives will not be goverment liability. Good luck

Hi guys. This question is mainly for California Service Center Applicant. My window to apply for citizenship (N400) opened 2days ago but I still have a pending I-751 stucked at fingerprint for my application has been applied as my status. My question is, I heard from a lawyer from New York saying is better to wait to get approved on the I-751 before filing for citizenship. And that will make the N400 application to move fast than combo (I-751/N400). Please, I will appreciate someone that has experienced this to explain it because am kind of confused either to wait for I-751 to get approve before filing N400.

It is better to wait for your I-751 form to get approved before filing for your N400, but if you are in a hurry you can take the N400 quiz online on the USCIS website which tells you if you are eligible to file or not before begining the application process.

    Hello everyone!

So, it's now 5 years exactly since I relocated into the USA as a wife of an American Citizen. We have since divorced, due to irreconcilable differences. I came into the country with my 2 children who are now 24 and 21 respectively. We currently have our 10-year permanent resident status, but right now, we feel it's time to move things to the next level.

Please point me in the direction I have to take in order for us to get our citizenship status.

    Thanks.

    April.

You can fill out the form online on the USCIS website and also submit all the required documentation at the same time. I recently did my wife own and she has gone for her biometric and waiting for her interview date which is a duration of 12 to 14 months depending on where you live.

My fiance  lived in Benin Republic for about two years for business before moving back home.  He is trying to get information about obtaining a police certificate from there but not making any headway.  Has anyone obtained a police certificate from Benin Republic?  How did you go about getting it and what documents were needed?  Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

My wife is here on B1 and B2 visa, I'm currently on permanent green card...I'm seeking advice and all..I'm eleigible for my blue passport sometime next year .....plz advice the necessary steps ....

    Hello crisjerm,

Your wife don't have to return back to Nigeria. You can marry her here in the States and also you are able to file for her with your permanent resident card, you don't need to be a U.S citizen. (phone number removed)

  6. Hello everyone,

I am getting ready to file for permanent resident for my alien spouse who is currently in the United States but she has two kids from her previous marriage and wanted them to file with her at the same time. My question is that will her two kids file a separate I-130 and I-485 form or they will use the same one she is using.

Note: the kids are age 8 and 14 years. Thanks in advance
