Hi everyone,

my dad had his interview once again after  5 years of AP . He got his fingerprints done once again also , but , now it has been again over a month after his 2nd interview and fingerprints but no news or update for embassy. Can any one tell me how long does it take to be asked for medicals after the fingerprints and interview ?

Hi, My dad Received a call From embassy after 5 years of AP, is it a good sign? They asked about his job and stuff also about his past jobs and everything .

Please let me know if any one else had this situation.

Hi, my dad case is under AP for almost 5 years . And recently he received a call from embassy after 5 years asking him some question about his job and stuff . Please some one let me know if it is a good sign ???? I will appreciate it ,,, waiting for five years...... for this day

When we are getting mad to get the visa,our parents, brothers,sisters, they are the people we are leaving behind and show no attachment with them.

So until you are here try to spend your time with them beautifully because you don't know whether you will get the chance to spend time with them ever again. Specially your parents deserve your love and care, Don't pass this time in stress for a matter you have no control.

I am sure you will really miss this time. Life is not a bed of roses here, its demands are really high.

i am not from Pakistan ? But my dad case is under AP since 2012 ??? I am trying to fill a mandumas action .

I have done that long back... and congressman office inquires about the case every 60 days .. but no use..

It could mean a denial, don't think that's the difference you're looking for.

Right ..But 5  years ........... very long wait.. actually I have no hope now .. so what ever the chances are I want to at least try it.

I did with a couple of them , they don't want to file.. but I know there are lawyers who do file mandamus. But I want a good lawyer and specially a honest one .

MY dad case is under AP for almost past 5 years  we are very frustrated ...and want to file a mandamus action finally after this long wait .. please give me u r opinions / suggestions .
