Who do you talk to? Anytime I call the nvc phone number the person on the other line doesn’t give me much information. Should I send an email? Please advise 

NVC completed and accepted all documents and fees submitted. However, they messaged me saying to upload my 2020 W-2. Does anyone know how long it will take them now to review this newly uploaded document?

I submitted an i130 application for my 8 year old step son who currently lives in Lebanon. His father has lived here for more than 2 years now and now its time we bring his son. Does anyone know how long it takes USCIS to review the i130 application. We completed filing it online and it said accepted and now is under review. I dont remember if its sent to another center and how will I know when its been sent.

So my husband had his interview on November 16th. He said it went very well but the interviewing officer requested he bring her further documentation regarding a verbal argument that was placed on his police record. She asked him 3 times to take her paperwork. He was NOT given a blue slip 221g he was told they would internally process his paperwork then get back to him. Has anyone ever encountered this issue? He was told that once this was over he would be asked to bring in his passport to have the visa placed. I am wondering how long this takes :/

How long did it take for them to email you your interview date after the expedite approval?

So our case was expedited and sent immediately to the US embassy overseas. Now we are confused as to how to schedule an appointment for the interview? Do they email us with an interview date ? When I call the NVC they advised me to contact them and schedule my own interview. When my husband called the told him to email his concern. Then I received an email stating I would be emailed in several weeks regarding an interview to be scheduled. I thought this was an expedite. I am confused anyone help?

Just to let you know they emailed me today and I was approved for an expedited case. My file is being sent to the embassy.

If it takes 11 weeks for them to process it then my husband will not be here for my surgery.

Hey everyone! So my AOS packet arrived at the NVC on October 6th. I contacted my local congressman and his office has put in a request to follow up on my case. His assistant informed me that the file is marked as congressional and may be expedited. Does anyone have an experience with this? Is there any way to keep updated on where my case is now? I have an important surgery that I need but am postponing it because I need my husbands support not only emotionally but financially. Any advise? Should I try to expedite ?

It doesn't say anything if I the petitioner must submit any Civil Documents such as birth certificate or police records of my own?

I am going through my document cover page and one of the things I need to submit are the Petitioners Civil Documents. What would I need to turn in? By th way I am the petitioner. Also what did you guys turn in for proof of domicile?

So I am now preparing my Affidavit of Support to send to the National Visa Center. I am confused regarding which IRS Tax Transcript I should send them. I filed in February 2017 as single but I later then amended my taxes and filed jointly. My amended tax return was adjusted but I was not paid my tax return amount due to the fact I didn't send in an application for an ITIN since he still currently overseas. My question is should i submit to the NVC both tax returns ? 

So I paid my 120 dollar AOS fee and it cleared as PAID. Now I am trying to pay the IV fee but I am being redirected to the receipt for the 120 fee. I can not yet pay the 325 dollar IV fee. How long will it take for me to be able to pay it? I am so confused. Do I send the whole packet together until after I pay or can I send before? Also I have two barcodes one for the full cover sheet and one barcode for the form 864. How do I arrange all of this paperwork!

We received our NOA 1 December 6th 2016 from the Nebraska  service center. It's been close to 8 months since our processing date. Anyone else still waiting from 2016? I notice all the other centers are processing cases of 2017. I am becoming very frustrated and anxious. Please advise!

The same thing happened to me. They didn't ask me anything and then said that there was no evidence. Maybe it's best to request to expedite through an e-mail, where you can attached files to support your request.

They emailed me today and said I was denied due to lack of evidence. However, when I made my initial call no one told me to provide evidence I would have been more than happy to! Was your I130 approved yet? Sorry to hear about your denial I understand how it feels!!

My husband lives in Lebanon and as of February 15 they updated the travel warnings for US citizen there are strong tensions and conflicts between the Lebanese and Syrian borders as well as the Israeli border. I am afraid everyday for his sake due to an impending war on the country! He lives very close to the conflict! Also he is very ill and I am afraid something will happen to him before I get to see him. I gave them all these reasons hope it works these couple months have been rough for both of us. What was your reasoning??
