Yes we did. it took us more than 2 weeks to make sure all their required was correct. and the payment was sent. we didnt hear back from them if they've  received our package. what do you think?

Please can anyone give me an average time it takes to hear from USCIS, when a case of AOS is sent there? I noticed they do not have a processing time for AOS from K1 on the uscis website. It was sent to chicago for for a month now and we didnt hear from them, if they got it or not. any help please.

I GOT MY K1 VISA TODAY IN LAGOS, AND I WAS GIVING WITH A BROWN ENVILOPE, NOT TO OPEN. PLEASE I WANT TO KNOW IF I SHOULD  BUY A ONE WAY TICKET OR ROUND TRIP? URGENT

I did my k1 visa interview on the 9th of feb and till now no message from the embassy after have been approved. So i checked the status of my visa and is showing issued but I didn't get a call or mail from the embassy yet. Can I go do the pick up or wait for them to message me?

I did my interview on the 9th of Feb. Before you interview some Nigerians at the same immigrant stand will check everything you have before they will pass it to the CO, they will review it. I saw everything wrh my own eyes. My advice for anyone going for interview for immigrant visa is to make sure everything that asked for is complete.  The questions they will ask individual is different. Any before you got there, they've already concluded. Cos all the document from uscis is with them. Just make sure the additional document is ready. The interview is like abc. Easy

Thanks ks to everyone here for your advice and support.  Got my interview on Thursday and I won't call that an interview cos the CO didn't ask me anything than, What's my name and my fiancee name, what do we both do, when did we see, the next thing was a white paper to pick up my visa. Thanks everyone.  I have a question, please it will take how many working days to get my passport back?

Hopefully you had a good quality petition package you submitted to USCIS so the CO has something to review before you even come to interview. Wow. Thanks Bro. We did well with USCIS and we have even more evodense to prove that our relationship is legit for the coming interview. 

Got this mail from the US embassy but my previous apountment date as not changed. And why did they have to change it?     THE MESSAGE.             Please be advised that due to administrative reasons, your fiancé’s K1 visa interview has been rescheduled from February 10, 2017, to February 9, 2017. The interview time remains 7.00 am. Kindly forward this information to your fiancé.

@soulsticker what's your experience at lagos embassy and how did the CO deals with K1 visa applicant. I just want to know cos have not applied for U S Visa before and have heard a lot of negative things about how they handle Nigerians.  I just need someone to give an expo on what I will be facing soon, so that I can prepare myself.
