Don't you have voter's ID or Insurance card??? I'm not sure about a photocopy of your passport but you can try...

Note:visa was issued a week ago and no emails or calls from dhl yet.

You should go to DHL with an ID card and the blue sheet..... I got mine from DHL

After approval the CO said the visa would be available in 2 weeks and to come back and pick it up. My fiance checked the embassy 2 weeks after the interview (January 18th)  and it was not there. Then today after reading this thread, I asked him to go to DHL. I did not get any notification or email. I only noticed that on January 13th the CAEC site status changed to "Issued".... He just went by chance and it was there. When he was at the DHL office he inquired about the process and his frustration about not knowing where to go. They told him that it was actually at DHL the whole time, ever since January 18th.

Please how did you know it was available for pick up???? Did you track it or you were told at the DHL office when your fiancé got there today???

Did you apply for K1 or CR1... Because I learned that CR1 has to change from issued to ready and not K1....

I was approved on January 4th and status changed to "Issued" on January 13th. I don't know if it because of the holidays and maybe they're behind? I guess we just have to wait. I hope this doesn't go into February  

I'm thinking so too, waiting seems to be the only option now...

Yeah it's strange... Because that's also what I know... That "issued" is the last stage of the visa status and "ready" is before interview.... I'm frustrated already...

The visa was approved on 21st December  but showed "issued" on 19th January....
