  1. Thanks Hypnos that's such a great help.

as far as I can understand we have to leave part 3 section 2 unchecked ???? Right ???

And isnt the father the preparer ??? As you have mentioned to leave it blank ?

Plus should there be a cover sheet sent along with this form claiming that this form was asked for so and so case number ?

The information on page 1 concerns the child, because it asks for the information of the "intending immigrant".

Page 2, part 2, you would check box 1.b.

For part 3, you would check box 1.a assuming your husband is fluent in English.

Your husband signs in box 6.a.

Leave parts 4 and 5 blank.

  2. My children just had an interview for i130 petition by my husband who is a U.S. National. They've kept their passports saying there is no issue in this case and you just need to Courier i864w form to us ASAP. I have few questions

    1. As my son is 7 years old so his father will be filling in all his information in part 1 and part 2 right?

    2. Part 3 is confusing. I don't know what to click 1a or b and what to click in 2. Secondly whose the requestor the father or the son.

    3. I understand that nothing will be filled in part 4 which is interpreter.

    4. But what about part 5? Is father the preparer or is it obvious that as child is under 14, parent who is US citizen will be filling this form?

    5. The fields that need not to be filled should be left blank or N/A should be written ?

    6. When sending through courier should I just send the form or some cover sheet with it ?

    Help needed ASAP
