DFA stopped accepting walk-ins a few years back, especially around metro Manila.  Maybe some of the smaller satellite offices will allow a walk-in, but I would count on it.

she is leaving for Germany.  She needs to have a passport really soon.  I guess she will still try her luck and will try to walk-in.

hi there,

They just asked for the filled out registration form and my original cfo certificate. you can download the form on their website. I didn't pay for anything. I just submitted what they asked from me. I waited for like around 5 mins and then they gave me back passport with the CFO sticker on it. It was really quick.

after my visa got issued on 03/20, i got my visa packet on hand on 03/23. I was so surprised because it took them only 3 days. i am soooo happy!. hehe. and yesterday i went to CFO to get an exit sticker.. now i am all set.. ready to go..  Thanks to God!

i am very happy because they issued my visa too..:) now I am just waiting to receive my visa packet.. i hope to receive it this weel till next week.. i hope there will be no more delays this time. i am so excited to proceed on my plans.. like a get together with family and friends and packing my bags.. hehe... let me know when you receive your visa packet ok?

I am very happy to say that they finally issued my visa today! I was so surprised when i saw the status update.  Now i just have to wait for 7-10 days to receive my passport and the packet.. Thank God!

Should I post here my timeline? from my interview date up to when i get my passport?

i just got an email today.  it says that they received the documents on 03/17 and is forwarded to a consular officer for review. although it was received at the embassy on 03/10. oh man.. i hope the consular officer won't let my case sit on his desk for a long time...the last updated date changed again to today's date but still under AP.

Thanks. I really hope they will keep the good news coming this coming week.They don't work on weekends right? I should not expect any developments through the weekends though. will keep you uodated..

updated date changed to todays date.. but still in AP. maybe next week will be issued.. i can only hope

congrats first of all. you must be very happy. I just checked the portal today and the last updated date has changed to today but still under administrative processing. I really hope and pray to God that next week will be a good week for me..i hope they don't need any more documents from me. I'm so itching to buy a plane ticket..

im actually hopeful that they will issue my visa within 2 weeks just like what happened to some poeple who posted their timeline. so  I really hope that next week will bring a good news. but if not, i guess i got no other choice but to wait and follow-up.

my case is currently on AP status and the embassy have received the additional documents 6 days ago. Today my status update date changed from February 15 to March 16. what does it mean? i hope somebody can enlighten me.

I just called the embassy and asked them why my case date hasn't been updated in CEAC portal. The agent said she will write a report about it to know if what's sstill needed to process my case. I really hope they will contact me soon. i'm so worried..:(

I am currently on AP too and they received my docs last friday 03/10. I just wanna know if how many times did they update your visa status? as of now the last update of my visa status is feb 15, my interview date. I hope i will be lucky like you.

Im currently on AP status too. The documents that they were asking was received at the embassy last Friday (03/10/17). I really hope that they will update my case soon. I need to be patient, specially that my husband is gonna be deployed soon..:(
