My wife and I have recently married in the United States. She is now back in her home country and we are looking to get going on the CR1 process asap and close our gap again.
She is taking my last name & we are scratching our heads wondering how we should fill out the 130 and proceeding documents.
Is it OK for us to begin the process using her soon-to-be name? Even though she would be currently working on getting her named changed in her home country.
OR - should we not worry about any name change work until after she is here?
