Did you attach your most recent Employment Verification latter?
Did you attach your 2 pay stubs?
If you had filed your 2016 tax return, did you attach your 1040 form along with your w2's?
Call them, and if you are making more than poverty level according to their guidelines, you do not need any joint sponsor.
We need more details about what you have written in your i-864ez about your income in order to help me more in detail.
Yes I attached all that. I am making more than the poverty level, but I started working 07/2016, so that income level doesn't show in my 2016 tax, since I only worked less than half of the year.

Hello everyone, so my husband had his interview on March 13. Everything went well but we need a joint sponsor, because it is less than a year that I have started working. It is so stressful, I can't find anyone willing to be a joint sponsor. Anyone have a suggestions?

So I called the NVC just to make sure about the AOS. They told me that it is not required, but it is recommended that you have an updated copy of the AOS, in case the embassy asks for it. To my understanding, it means that I can fill out a new one and send it over to my husband. I am understanding it correctly?

Hi, you must bring a signed copy of AOS to the interview. Have a good day!!!
Hey, thanks for the reply, but I dont have a copy of the AOS, so should I fill it out again and send him that copy?

Hi guys, so I received the interview letter a few days ago. On there it says that the applicant needs to bring the AOS with him. My question is, does that only apply to people that didn't send it in before? or I have to send him another one so he can take it with him? I am very confused???!!!???!!!

I just got off the phone with NVC. My husband's interview is scheduled for March 13. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My case was completed 01/26. Waiting for the interview, hoping to get an interview for march. I am terrified, with all these immigration bans going on, I just want my husband to be here before anything else happens.

Hello everyone, I am so happy to be able to post in this thread. My case was reviewed 01/19/2017 and I received a checklist, for a marriage certificate in the language of the country I got married in. I had already sent it, so I don't know why they asked for it again. So I sent it to them on Friday and they received it Monday. It was scanned 01/25/2017, and my case was completed 01/26/2017. I hope I get an interview date when they start scheduling next week.

Yes, because the non-translated one is the original document; they have no way to verify the translation's validity if you don't send in a copy of the original with it. I'm so sorry for your checklist
What was your original scan date?
My original scan date was 11/16/2016

So just got off the phone with NVC. My case was reviewed yesterday, and I got a checklist :(. The rep told me that I have to send in my marriage certificate, which I did send. But he said it has to be in Urdu and English. I sent the translated one. I thought that I only have to send the translated one. Does anyone know if that is accurate or not? Do they really need the one that is not translated too?

So I called again today because I still haven't seen the famous 3rd N/A. The rep told me that my case was sent to the supervisor on 12/29/2016 and then sent to the document review department yesterday. So I am taking that as a good sign and hope to have my case complete by the end of the week. This is such a discouraging and never ending process!! How are you guys coping with this, please let me know, all I want to do to break in tears.

When I was told last week that my case was "actively" being reviewed, I asked if it was just sitting in la la land or if someone was actually reviewing it. The rep said they were looking at it. The next day I got my cc. Fingers crossed that will be your case! Good luck!
I hope the same happens with my case. Fingers crossed indeed, thank you!! I am fed up of this waiting.

So I just got off the phone with NVC, and the representative told me that a supervisor was working on reviewing my documents. Usually I get the usual answer that my documents are in the review department, but they haven't been reviewed yet. Can anyone tell me what this means. Will my case really be completed or am I just getting over excited for nothing??

Hi Guys , as u know got my CC today , but in same day my wife got big envelope from NVC, i dont know what's that for especially that mail takes more than week from usa to back home, meaning it was sent before my case were reviewed and completed.any clue guys on that envelope? Btw my wife isn't home that why no one couldn't open it and read it ..
thanks all !
It is probably the NVC welcome letter. The same happened to my husband. He received it like about two weeks ago. Nothing to worry about. Overseas mail is always delivered late.

Hey, dont worry it is just the mail from NVC with the 6 steps that you have to complete after your case is at NVC. My husband received that too. For some reason it takes very long for the mail to be delivered overseas. My husband received it about two weeks ago, after I submitted everything to NVC. It is the same exact thing that you received in your email.
