Hello everyone, 

after 8 months wait, finally we recover a letter for interview . M us citizen and my husband came here on K1 in April 2017. 

We are going for interview end of this month. 

I wonder what kind of questions they do ask?  Will they gonna ask the same question separately from us ? Is it gonna be together Intervirw or separately . 

Also my husband is nt suffiecent in English. Should he take any interprator or I should b able to help him? How lengthy the interview could b ,?

also unfortunately  I had my miscarriage last month. It did happens after the 4th day I checked at home . Should we tell them since I don't have doctor report .

I'd advice you to bring a copy of EVERYTHING you have ever submitted for your case / petition / adjustment / application. 

Also, the final decision may not be made by the end of your interview, so don't worry if your case / petition is legit and complete. My AOS approval arrived in the mail 15 days after the interview and the Green Card arrived the day after.

After 7 months (files on june2, 2017)wait we receive letter for interview for next month. To prove our relation we have thousands of pics, joint bank statements (less use of account) , joint car tag, joint tax return , utility bill, water bills, joint credit card statement. Joint medical account, all his medical bill under same address, all the mail on same address, . 

I wonder what else I can include. 

Also would it b appropriate to show the medical bills , since I sponsered him.

We are family of three. Me and my husband is expecting our interview(485 based on k1) some time next mnth. M self employed. I wonder how much estimate income I need to file the tax.  I need my tax return by the interview. Pls advise ,

i wonder what k1 file means is? Are they looking for copy of  129f ? Or what else ? 

Also so how long it took for the interview ? 

I applied mine on june2 , 2017 in Scarmento County California ? Since July 12,2017 Status show ur case is ready for interview to be scheduled? 

Pls advise how long ur case took& which count or state ?

i filed my case on June2, 2017 (I-485 based on k1) . We are waiting for the interview to set up since July 12 when it update the status that ur case is ready to interview. I filed in Sacramento (California) 

i wonder which state & county did u file? & how long did u guys wait ?

Does anyone have recent experience obtaining an emergency advanced parole from a field office?  More specifically the Sacramento, CA field office?  They recently halved the days the field office is open, so it has been extremely difficult to get an infopass mtg. scheduled.  I will likely have to obtain an emergency advanced parole for my wife and still have some questions about the process.  I was able to ask a field officer if our situation warrants an emergency AP, and they said it did.  But I still have questions concerning the process and scope of the emergency AP:

3)  Has anyone actual done this recently?  What was your experience in general?

Oh really 😳😳. So How did u find out ur new interview date & everything ? Does L2 immigration officer helps to update accurate or they also tell whatever shows online ?

Yea, we got the biometrics done in 25 days . Status shows ur case is ready for interview . Waiting for interview date?

We're in California, my husband is from south Africa. 

We filed his I-485 originally back in February of this year, first interview was set for Sept 13th and was mailed at end of august. However due to a USPS error, we did not get it and had to get our local Congressional rep's offie to help  get it reopened. It was reopened on Oct 3rd and we received a new interview for November 22nd on November 3rd.

In regards to the letters, i have only one family member that was willing to do a letter do this being a gay relationship. My mother who lives in Mississippi (we live in CA) filled out a letter, signed it, and had two of her friends sign it as witnesses. She didn't feel comfortable taking it to notary in her area. Should i bother adding it/taking it with? 

 

In regards to pictures, all of our pictures are taken with phones. I intend to color print them, put a cover explaining the destination and time frames of each set. Do you think this will suffice?

 

Lastly, my husband's I-693 was obtained by the immigration officer when he entered to United States. The officer did not return it and we assumed it was provided to USCIS. When we applied for the adjustment of status it was still with in 1 year of issuance. We called USCIS customer service to find out if we needed a new one performed before the interview and were informed no, we didn't need to worry.  Anyone see any concerns we should have with this?

Hi there, how long did u wait for the interview to be set? & which state & county ur case was ? 

I applied 1-765 for my husband on August 10'2017 based on pending 485(k1). Our case is with national benifit center. Uscis's official site shows the running date of Sep 15, 2017. Our case  is on August 10. Its been 95 days.  I spkoe to L2 officer , they said case is in normal processing. I wonder how long usually the process is ? I m sick of calling L2 officers , every tym they said it is in normal processing tym. How many days we have to wait more for work permit? We are in California. Any one receive work permit here ? 

Also what else I can do regarding the uscis's date shows sep 15 and our case was filed on aug 10. 

Any response  is appriciable.

VJ timeline shows I-485 adjustment of status processing time last update on Feb 17, 2017. 

Since i-485 is for so many catagories like family based, employement based etc . I wonder VJ timeline's I-485 belongs to which catagory? 

My husband was here on K1 visa. We have applied his 485 on June 2, 2017. M looking for something related to His case. Uscis' official page shows processing time only based on employment based I-485. Also I wonder how reliable VJ is ? I mean I spoke uscis's L2 officer & she said they have nothing to do with VJ. Updates on VJ are not reliable to get any info.

My fiance arrived here in USA last month. We have got marry already marry. I wonder what is the nest process is? Since we are applying for his green card, Do we have to apply for work permit as well?  If yes, his work permit will be valid only for 90 days? How long does it take to get the green card?  To apply for green card what documents i should submit ? Petition approval letter, Copy of marriage certificate, i-94, 2 passport pics. What other document i should submit? 

I will appriciate all kind of help.

thanks for reply. I did contact the embassy and they helped me out. Now, Embesy states that my fiance need I-134 from me and some documents from his side. I wonder whether i should send him bank statements, tax returns,  I-129 f , G-325 (Mine)  or letter of intend to marry as well?

Hi there, 

I applied for my fiance on October 24, 2016. And it was approved on November 17, 2016. My case is now with NVC since last two months. But i have not received any latler or email in two months. I called NVC twice and they said they don't have the case any more. I  wonder what is inculded in this letter . I mean whether my fiance can apply for visa or we have to wait till letter.
