My school because the error was from them. I contact the US embassy if i could reapply because case was treated as Hold case/221 G & Refusals/214B and i was told i can if i wish to

I got admission offer into Tennessee state University for the spring 2017 session. I am married so i requested for a dependent i-20 for my husband from the which i was asked to proof financial support of 5,000 US dollars which i did. Now my question is what is my chances of obtaining a visa F1 and F2 visa because we have been advised to reapply immediately because school resumes in less than 10 days.
