I have read somewhere, maybe here, that when the CSC gets a I-129f packet they apply a barcode and anytime it is handled they scan this barcode and this will show as an update on a persons USCIS account. Is this true? Also I thought that cases were processed in order that they are received except in a few cases. I have noticed here that couple that have a later NOA1 date than mine are receiving their NOA2. My NOA1 date is 11-18-2016 and there are many beyond that point receiving NOA2. I am happy for those who have been approved but at the same time I am getting a little worried. Thanks for any help.

When people give a date for NOA1 here for reference, which date are they talking about? There a two, a receive date and a notice date on the NOA1. Just trying to tell where CSC is by looking at the approval of different NOA1 dates.

Thank you all for your replies. It may seem that USCIS isn't fully up to date with their own operations.

How reliable is visa journeys postings of various service centers processing times or dates being processed? I have spoken with a USCIS rep. and they are telling me that CSC was now processing July 16th 2016 for k-1 visa whereas visa journey read that they are now processing Nov. 18th 2016. Can anyone help clear this up?
