  1. Hi,

My Husband had his AOS interview this month and was approved pending FBI name check. We have been married for 16 months. My question is if it takes 6 months or more

for FBI name check to be done and we have then been married for over 2 years will he receive the 10 year Green Card instead of the Conditional Green Card? Or is it that because we had our interview before the 2 year mark it will still be a Conditional Green Card no matter how long the FBI name check takes to be done. Thanks

  2. Hi,

After returning from christmas vacation and checking online the status for I-485 and 1-765(employment) we just mailed in

November it says 'notice returned as undeliverable' for both cases. When we checked the mail there was a letter from USCIS

headed 'request for applicant to appear for initial interview' on february 21 2007. Is that our interview date for my husbands

Green Card? Does anybody know why it says 'notice returned as undeliverable'? We live at the same address. There was no letter for the I-765 in the mail though.

    Thanks

  3. Hi,

My Husband arrived last month on a K-3 visa and we are ready to file for AOS. On the I-485 and G-325a

forms it asks for his alien registration number and also the A#, does anybody know where i can find

these? Also does anybody know which one the I-94# is?

    Thanks

The I-94 is the white card stapled in your -the # is the black number at the top and your A# is on the visa....starts wih an A (also known as the Alien Registration #)

Are you sure that the A# (alien Registration number) is on the Visa? I can't find it anywhere. I have

a K-3, do you know where it is located? Also is the I-94# the large numbers on the top left?

    Thanks

I have a K3 visa too and it is on the left under "annotation"....next to the pic

On my Visa i see where "annotation" is on the left but there is nothing under it. But to the far right

there is 8 numbers in Red, could this be it?

    Thanks

nope it is not the red number.....check you NOA2....I think it is on that too.....the number is

    A## ### ###

Is that the I-29F appoval notice?

    Thanks

  6. Hi,

My Husband has his interview in London on November 2nd. He is currently with me in the States as a

Tourist and will be flying back for his interview. I am 19 years older than my husband (he is 21), could

this be a red flag to the interview officer? If so would it be worth me flying with him to attend the interview

as well? I do not want the officer to think it is a sham marriage because of our age difference!

    Thank You

    Kym

  7. My case was approved and sent to the London consulate in the begining of August. They sent Packet 3

to me on the 1st of september, they should of had it now for at least 3-4 weeks. I was just making sure that was the exact address to send it to. Sorry but it is just kinda frustrating.

  8. Hi, i returned my Packet 3 back to the London Embassy on Sept 11th and the DOS number still tells

me that they have no record of the embassy receiving the packet. I'm concerned as other members have

returned there packet after mine and they already have received a interview date.

The address i returned the packet was : Embassy of the USA, Visa Branch, 5 upper Grosvenor Street,

London, W1A 2JB. Is this correct? Or has anyone sent the packet to a different address?

    Thank you.
