being military there are certain aspects why we are doing it now. Big ones are family being here for the wedding, and the easier transition going there accompanied rather than the government messing things up from the bureaucracy.

hmm, because I go back to korea for a year or two to work. so we are just trying to get the married part finished first and then the green card part as we come back to the states.

well damn. smh ok, well we will do what we can i'm trying to scrape together the extra 195 to add to the pot for uscis first. If ya'll got to the step of the consult yet about how long between paying Uscis till paying the consult so we have a better timeline and i understand the experience may vary.
-
ok elaborate more please haha.
so far I've seen that USCIS gets 340 and Consult gets 195. so I would pay 535 to homeland security. Or are you saying its a different price than that all together because that is what I had found tonight on USCIS.gov

ok, thank you. This is a set back we were going to file tom, I guess we have to wait now until i get the remaining 195.00.

it says the I 1-29 filling fee is 535, so i'm assuming I can't just pay 340 to USCIS now and then the 265 to the consult when it gets to them? you have to pay it up front??

So, I'm IcarthaneseXIII about to file for my fiance and me to petition for for our marriage. I am the Petitioner, and the American in the relationship. we didn't go through a lawyer or anything like that and I just have a couple questions if anyone has gone through this one or not, On a K-1 you need your cover sheet, Letter of intent and all of these documents. For me as the American who is also military should I write my barracks address under for mine, or my actual P.O. Box where my mail is actually delivered. Also on my letter of intent, America doesn't really have a consult would I take this part out or type in the consult she will be attending as the beneficiary.
I really appreciate this help. If you need an example of what im looking at for these let me know.

accompanied lets me stay there for 2 years otherwise ill end up back here and deploy again. This whole thing is a headache, worth it but a headache. we were aware of the other fees just things that came up as we were about to mail our packet off so now its delayed another week or two. and technically we cant get the court house marriage because she leaves in like 2 days and it wasn't the intent of her getting married this time. we had a few friends who did that and are having a harder time now.
