Sake,
Funny you should ask...
I received the card on January 8th 2007 but no notice yet. I was also wondering if it's normal procedure since one of the USCIS emails clearly stated that the approval notice was sent on January 4th. Unless they meant GC as a notice but i doubt it.
Anyway, the notice itself means nothing without card so we can sleep soundly, can we?
Hi Amfrisco,Have you received a seperate approval notice in addition to your new card? I have received my card first but I haven't received the notice yet. If you did how long did it take for the notice to arrive? Is it one of these 'Welcome to America' letters? I appreciate if you could answer my question.
I simply went on USICIS website, registered and optred for email alerts.
Congratulations!Just curious, how did you give them your email address?

Thank you all!
Since my NOA was nowhere to be seen we had to go for Infopass appointment. As it happened, the app was scheduled on the day my GC expired. Officers at Newark Service Center were very helpful and gave me an I-551 stamp without any questions. God Bless them. I'd say I was lucky when I heard they don't give the one year stamp anymore.
Anyway, everything went pretty smooth.
However, I had to travel recently on my I-551 stamp and the experience at the JFK was far from smooth. The entry officer had no clue why I had this stamp and not an actual GC in my hand so he sent me to the separate room. They checked my data in the system and released soon but the feeling wasn't pleasant at all.
Now I'm happy won't have to go through the same checkpoints while travelling.
Good luck to everyone waiting!

Lou Lou, Alchemist
Do your NOA's state
'If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents to assist USCIS in processing your petition and to eastablish eligibility to remove the conditional basis of your permanent residence." ?
Is it the standard NOA now ? Should I send more docs ( it's not RFE hovewer) or just disregard it ?
Please advise.
Thanks!

I only received NOA today but what a relief anyway.
Now waiting for Biometrics and couple more months for a 10 year old GC.
I see you filed couple days after us so you should be getting your NOA pretty soon.

Great! Now we have some sort of a list....and since Lou Lou received NOA recently, it means that Melissa's NOA is on its way...
And my other observation is that it generally takes up to 2 months from filing to receive NOA1 from Vermont.
Keep us posted, guys!

HI everyone,
We're almost done with our supporting docs. Here goes another headache- how to assembly the papers? I know the USCIS advises Acco fasteners and 2 punch holes on the top. Does it mean that the application itself have to be 2 punch holed?
How to attach the photographs? Staple them?
Thank you!

Hello,
When sending I-751 do we need to attach both identifications ( of beneficiary & USC) or just beneficiary?
I was planning to send only the copy of my green card and marriage certificate but now I'm confused.
Thank you!
Have you received your Green Card yet?
