I will have my medical examination on June 12, the problem is i got pregnant and ive read in the letter that xray can be performed on pregnant women with proper shielding but my doctor (ob-gyne) give me a letter that the request is deffered fror me to have x-ray until 12 weeks of pregnancy...will it affect the visa?

I got married in the Philippines and we were issued a marriage license by the local civil registrar. My wife has been waiting for the official NSO issue of our marriage license since October 05 and it has not yet come (despite going back back there many times). I want to begin filing the K3 and send in the I130.

Question: Do I need to wait for the NSO marriage license or can I send in the locally issued license? My wife thinks I should wait for the NSO license since she cannot get a passport (etc) with the local license. Thanks!

No, dont wait for it, it will take months...you only need to submit a copy of the marriage license they dont emphasize that you need to give them the authenticated copy from the NSO...

Just got married and now my husband will start the petition paper for the K3/spouse visa, do you have idea on how long will it take? and what are the documents that i need to show at the embassy? do i need to show medical history of my husband? he need surgery on his shoulder and and lower back, will the embassy pity me and will approve my visa?
