So I have my k1 interview in Sydney in a few days and have only just recieved my Police Check back.

I've checked it out and completely forgot that a few years ago I (unnecessarily, I'll explain below) went to court over a minor traffic offense for wearing my seatbelt under my arm instead of over. I nominated myself to go to court at the time as I was under the impression I'd lose my license otherwise. Not sure why! I'm an idiot basically.

So anyway I was convicted of the offense of course and paid the $125 fine. But now the offense is on my record since I went to court. I've read that I need to bring court transcripts to the interview otherwise they can deny my visa!

Is this true? Or can I just explain to them the mix up as I have above? I'm very stressed about it and any help would be appreciated!

If it helps, it was only a magistrates court and not the big one (federal? Major? Can't remember sorry!)
