    i forgot to write a statment why i dont file taxes

    Hello,

    My parents attended IR5 visa.interview and every seemed to be fine until the officer asked for (iam the petitioner)my taxes , i was a student so i didnt work and my income is zero so i dont file taxes. My father told them that im unemployed so the officer put them under administrative process and wrote that a statment from the petitioner why i dont file taxes is required.. My question is if i wrote a statment explaining the reasone would be enough?
