  1. hello Everyone

unfortunately I'm in the process of preparing my  I-864 and I think I missed up with some few pages. First in first page Part 2. 2.a. to below, Do I need to put my address here in USA or my mom in Philippines? and secondly, my son is 12 years old and he's recieving ssi every month which i considered it share of household income. Do I need to include him in I-864 and make a different I-864 form?

    thank you guys!

  2. Thank you for your response. In the letter it didn't say suggested but it says voluntarily only so, I will now go ahead and send the BC. by the way just a thoughts, Can i send all the documents like supporting documents even they didn't ask me yet or do I have to wait until they ask me? Just wondering if I can do it it will save time.

    Thank you so much!

  3. Hello Everyone,

I recently filed a petition for my mother and after few months waiting they finally responded to me with the case number provided. But i am a little confused because when I sent then the first documents I enclosed my birth certificate to proved that my mother is my biological parent.

The letter that they sent me asking for a copy of birth certificate and they stated that I didn't sent the documents required to them. But anyhow I will send them the BC again--Another requirement they asked me but Voluntarily is the DNA testing done. my main question is; do I have to choice to get the DNA done or No? If i dont do it, would that affect the application process? Im not sure why they ask the DNA which If I can just provide them the BC.

    any response is big help!

    Thank you

  4. Hi there

I'm seeking for answer to this question

14b. Did you gain permanent resident status through marriage to a U.S citizen or lawful permanent resident?

I got my permanent resident card through my US citizen husband and that was 7 years ago--I'm now a US Citizen. Do I have to answer YES to this question or NO or just write down N/A? kinda confused. needed help trying to avoid rfe if possible. thanks a lot!

  6. Are you sure the mom's birthdate is the only thing missing? That would normally cause an RFE, not the complete rejection. Double check you included everything else needed, as listed in our Guide.

Yes, a new money order must be sent for the new fee- once submitted, your petition will have a normal processing, previous rejection won;t slow down the new one.

yeah It stated in the notice I-797C that ( application/petition has not been fully completed one of the following field is not completed: - Your Alien Relative's Date of Birth )

  7. Hello Everyone

I'm so bummed out. I received my I-130 application along with my money order and the rest of my requirements back in the mailbox today. USCIS sent it back due to incomplete application!--yeah it was my fault and was in a rush to send it 2 weeks ago so I won't have to pay the new fees after 24th of 2015 but here I am start over again! oh well!

Anyway's according to the letter they returned it due to incomplete application which I forgot to write down my mother birth date which is very important! and they want me to send it back along with all the required documents, appropriate fees.

My questions is--Do I have to fill out another I-130 form or do I just have to finish the form that they sent back to me and finish it up? after completed is there any delays of this application since it was rejected and resubmitted? the payment method--it was $420 old fees do i have to get another money order to complete the appropriate fees? sorry guys I'm just so disappointed about this process and It is my own fault! thank you so much for all your help!

  8. Hi everyone!

I would like to ask who ever that has more experiences about this. I'm in the process of bringing my mother here in USA and i already started the first process. My question is when they ask for additional documents, Do I have to send the original documents or just photocopy. I just wanna be ready before the time come because I know it take a while to send any documents from Philippines to USA.

    Thank you guys for reading...

  9. hi

    don't need driver's license

copy of your mom's marriage certificate or divorce certificate, if it's not in English, attach a translation into English of said document

if you are a US born citizen, you only need your birth certificate, it will show your mom as your parent and also proof of citizenship

hi there, thanks for your answer!

as you mentioned above I didn't sent them the marraige certificate but instead I sent my birth certificate stated my mom is my mother. Is that enough or they still need marraige certificate coz I didn't include it to my documents! :( which makes me worried now.
