Hello all! 

My husband and I plan on possibly moving to Vancouver BC which is where I'm from.  He is American.  We were going to get my green card here in Texas.  But changed our minds.  The job market is better in BC.  

I read the paperwork for USA to Canada on the Canadian govt website.  But still. It really sure where to begin.  

Many tips would be helpful. 

Also my student visa recently expired after the last semester.  Or technically I won't be attending until august (unless we move). So does anyone know the rules on how long I can stay in the USA as a guest or visitor after my 60 day grace period as an international student.

Does anyone know what the steps are in an American immigrating to Canada through marriage. I will be applying for my green card and change of status. But we want him to have access to both countries. . .

So I still need vaccines if my home country is Canada !!!??

Hey does anyone know which vaccines are required. On the I-693 form it lists a bunch of them. The prices I've gotten during my research are ranging 200-300 and that doesn't include the vaccines ? Any tips or info would be great help ! Time is ticking fast !!

Can anyone tell me if my father in law can sponsor me even though we live at different households ??? My husbands income tax from last year I am sure won't be enough or meet the standards for the income. Please help !

Thank you so much for your response. Also do I apply for a social now ? Or after? And do you know how I figure out Where I send my package to AND how much does my spouse have to make to be approved to sponsor me ? If he doesn't make enough can my father Inlaw co sponsor ? And does that have a few ? One more question , does anyone know how long I can stay in the US once my f1 expires ( I believe there is a 60 day grace period) I hope we receive my conditional green card before that , if not are there any rules or regulations I must follow ? I want to make sure this is all perfect.

Hey y'all !

I have been in Houston Texas for almost 7 years. Been with my now husband for 4 years ! We eloped amd got married and now need to file paperwork to adjust my status.

I am filling out the I-485 form and am confused to which application type I choose. We never got a K-1 visa - so I'm not sure which option to choose- can anyone help that has maybe filed their paper work this way ! also I am Canadian he is American born and raised here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated since we have a deadline around the corner !!!
