My parents did the medical on 2/1 at St. Lukes Manila. Mom passed and mY dad failed in tb xray and his going to do a follow up on his smear test. The lady who has given his result said that he can do a no show on his interview on 2/13. Is this okay or will i have to call or sched another interview appt or just wait for the follow up smear test results?
I also want to know what to bring to the interview? Is there a dress code? Does anyone have a checklist on what to bring to the interview? Thanks a lot😊

Is it okay if my parents go to medical a day before my medical? Or does it have to be a month or week before interview? Thanks

Sibling petitions are seriously impacted from the Philippines. Currently people that are getting their visas though a sibling have waited about 24 years. Under the current laws a new petition will probably be well over 30 years ( the lines have gotten longer ) your parents can petition but the brother must remain single and even that takes forever about 10 years currently ( and the petition would dies with the death of who ever petitions him )
This is so sad. :-(

Your brother can attend the interview with them to help, but he cannot get a visa at the same time, his waiting time is another decade or more. Needing a caregiver is not a reason to jump ahead.
Your parents health issues alone will not lead to a visa denial, but with elderly parents or those with health issues, you may be asked to prove you can pay for their health insurance and a medically qualified caregiver as needed, over and above the I-864.

Did you petition your brother if so when, takes a very long time for brothers.
I sent the petition for my parents and my brother all together. Hoping they can help me out because I cannot afford to get a separate caregiver.

What I meant is if it is okay for him to go have same time with my parents when they go here because he will be the primary caregiver to my mom when they get here since I will be working.

Hi,
I petitioned my parents and included my brother because my mom is in the wheelchair and my dad is weak (in his 70's). Will this allow my brother to go together with my parents or will his process takes longer? Help!
