I did not hear from them after dropped off my RFE in person at the office for 7 days, when they had said all they needed was my medical and they would approve me right away at the interview.

I’m pretty sure my medical doesn’t have any problems, don’t understand why it’s been taking so long.

Also, keep in mind today is a federal holiday so they were closed. So it's only been 2 business days since the interview.

Thank you so much! I was worried bcz every person I know who got approval, received online status change notification right after the interview, at least at the same day. 

Hi, guys, I need your advice here. 
We had our marriage based interview at uscis office last Wednesday, IO told us she will go over my medical exam and if there is no problem she will go ahead and approve our case, we should receive GC in one week or two. We were expecting online status change since then. But it's been 6 days since our interview and our case online status is still pending!!! This drives me crazy. I know my medical exam has no problem, even it has, we are suppose to receive REF, but till now, not even a word! I'm in a desperate situation. 
Anyone have same situation or can give any advice??????

It can take a few days or even a couple of weeks. Often the person interviewing doesn't have the authority to approve an application but must get the approval from a supervisor, which can take a little while. I'm sure you'll get your approval soon enough. 

Thanks for your answer, but what do you mean the IO doesn’t have authority to approve online application? If so why she is the person who interview us and decide to approve or not?

Hey guys, need your advice. I received ' Case was scheduled for interview" one week ago, and got notification in mail as well.  But this morning received another notification says " interview has been cancelled"  Wth?  Anyone has same situation???????

I'm in Seattle.   My friend who applied even later than me got her interview scheduled already, and we are in same field office. Shouldn't it follow by time order?? 

So happy for you guys who got approval. My I485 PD is 23 Nov,2016 and nothing changed ever since. Any advises guys?

yes, you're right. both of 765 and 131 were approved and notice of action were delivered.

yes, and the 797 of my I765 application also shows '' The EAD Card will have an I-512 endorsement on that" which apparently not.

Interesting happened, supposed to receive a combo card, but when I opened the mail, it shows not valid for reentry. I heard ppl's name or other information was typed wrong on the card, but this situation, first time.

Any ideas fellows?

Finally received my biometrics letter today, It took almost a month since my last NOA, feel much better now. Seems like during holiday season, more patience is a must! 

Does anyone know what happens if the biometrics appt letter was sent to a wrong mailbox, we often received our neighbors letters in the mailbox, I'm wondering if it occurs, they mail out it but I don't get the letter and show up on time, will uscis reschedule the appt or something else will happen? Thanks!

NOA1 date is the date they verify that they received your application which will generally be the date you are notified by email. This date is also stated in the snail mail receipt

oh~ Notice date on my I797C was Dec 08, states on the top of the right corner, I received the hardcopy on 14 Dec in mail, so I suppose Dec 8th is my NOA1 date?

Also think about Christmas and the days in between the years which slow down things typically. On top of that the fees where raised so much more people might have take the chance to send stuff in before the fees go up.

I would say you are totally on track.

Yes, it is completely normal. Our NOA1 date is 12/7/16 and we just received our biometrics letter 12/23/16.

Was 12/7 the date you received NOA1 hardcopy in mail or emial notifcation? I filed on NOV so I think i should stay in this group, lol. Will fill the timeline later. Thx!

Received NOA hardcopy exactly two weeks ago, but no Biometrics appt letter yet, is that normal? I saw most of you received it around a week after NOA. Anyone have the same issue? Thanks!

I haven't received Biometrics letter yet, called uscis customer service today, they said it would take 14 to 30 days to receive bio letter after NOA. Glad to see you guys get your biometric appt letter, hope I will get my soon.
