Hello, I was an active memeber of the visajourney forum about a year ago and have come back for some help.
Here is my story, we got the K-1 and basically backed out at the last minute and decided to return to Venezuela (I am a us citizen but have lived most of my life in venezuela, thus that is the reason we "both"returned)
Now she has applied for a tourist visa once again (the one she had got cancelled when she got the k-1). Today her tourist visa got rejected because she has an american fiancee (isn´t it ironic, we went through the whole k-1 thing and did not stay in the US and now they think she is at risk of staying!!!)
Any thoughts on what to do in this case? is she now banned from the US forever? we still plan to get married (I know we are complicated I guess) does it mean I cannot take my wife to visit the US even if I am an american citizen?
Thanks for the help once again,
Leopoldo Vasquez

Well maybe I should stop bitching so much...Guys good news i received a letter from NVC saying that they received my case on september 22nd. The strange thing is that if I call NVC automated service it says they have not received anything. Perhaps your letters are coming soon!!!
Thanks,
-
Well here we go again !!!! its been 25 days since NOA2 and nothing!! how hard is it to mail something!! these people are horrible, I have never experienced anything so innefficient, unbelievable.
I think it is time to write to our congressman/women once again....

30 days!!! holy s##t!! so after 155 days of waiting I they have 30 days to drop the thing in the mail!! man these guys really need to get their act together..unbelievable..

My case was approved on August 31st, i have called NVC and they still have not received my case. Is this normal or should I be worried?
Thanks,
-

Una pregunta. Para la forma I-134 (affidavit of support), los tax transcripts tienen que ser notariados?
Gracias...
-
My understanding also is that they require a tax transcript not the copy. I would call and find out, in any case embassies can pretty much do what they want and require what they please, so defenitely listen to them...

Muchas gracias...

Here is another question: the affidavit says you have to provide "in duplicate, eveidence of resources and income". Does this mean that i have to provide 2 original documents for each requirement or can I provide one original and just make a copy?
Thanks,
-
I am confused about the tax transcripts needed for the I-134. On the IRS site you can ask for "Copies"of your tax return (form 4506) or "transcripts" of your tax returns (form 4506-T). Which one is the right one??
Also, once I have this, do I have to notarize the "transcript" or "copy"?
Thanks,
-
I would not spend any money at all...I made a few of the so called "mistakes" and got approved anyways. As long as the info is there and there aren;t any red flags you should be able to do it yourself. Look at the examples in visajourney and that should be enough

Finally I am able to pose questions and not b**ich on why has CSC not approved my petition yet...
So, for the affidavit of support: What needs to be notarized? is it the actual affidavit form, bank statements, pay stubs, IRS transcripts, or all of the above??
Also, any tips while assembling this?
Thanks,
-
Guys , by the looks of today forum i think they have finally started doing marchers!! i ahve seen at least 4 approvals today...
-
Finally, my petition has been approved. Thank to all of you guys for the support and the very useful information, if it wasn't for this forum i would have gone insane long ago. I also hope that all marchers will be soon approved (hey look at all the approvals today!!). It feels great to move on to better things!!!
Again, thanks to you all
-
Wooohhooo another marcher!! keep them coming...
-
I agree, I think it's time to do something. At least if it appears on TV for at least a minute, it will scare the s**t of the service center directors and they might get their act together.
Another idea, we could send the same letter we sent our congressman/woman to Larry King with the timelines we have from VJ as proof.
LETS DO IT i am sick of waiting without doing nothing...
-
Finally some of us marchers getting approved...!!! keep it coming..
-
Thanks, that helps!! And yes, us marchers did get screwed!!!

Je jeje welcome to the club my friend. To answer your questions: no you did not lost two months, you still have the same receipt date and priority than before (although CSC has been so messed up lately that really the receipt date has not mattered much). Also, yes, you can call the USCIS but the info they will give is absolutely useless, these people really know nothing on what is going on with your application. My advice: patience...
-
Please note: DO NOT send original documents such as birth certificate, divorce decrees, plane tickets, etc. Do send original of the stuff they ask you to send such as letters of intent, I-129F etc.

We are all in the same boat my friend, let's hope we get out of this mess soon...
