So there is no excuse for overloaded working loads or anything. 230 days has passed, my neighbor's baby was born last Sept. and he hits 26 in already, man.

    I'm at Chicago field office. I was told I was in line a week or two ago and have a PD of 8/12. Still nothing for me.

    Those September and November PD people have NBC numbers, which process far quicker. USCIS stopped handing out IOE numbers after August.

     

    I have an IOE number, and Chicago seems to have been fairly consistent in its processing times (2 other IOE'rs who have the same PD got their interview notices on the same day.)

    Wait a minute... I just checked my initial message and it says my priority date is 8/08, but they received the case at 8/11... Which one do I go off of. Did you use the "Case Recieved Date" on the ELIS web page as the PD? My fingerprints where also after yours at early September, whereas you said yours was late August. I'm getting confused and worried.

     

    If my actual date is 8/08 and not 8/11 that would mean I got skipped. What should I do?

    Finally a movement in my case, Checked the "check my status" site and it changed to Interview was scheduled. Didn't have any change since my FP taken in late August.

    However when I checked the USCIS site it didn't change...

    How long does it take for this site to update?

     

    Do you know when the status changed? Useful info for us later on in the Chicago timeline (I'm 8/11 PD.) Also, what is your PD?

     

    I've heard that the files get uploaded a couple of days after the initial status change.

    But officially they should open my case only at the end of November. Do I count 5 months from there or from beginning of August?

    Both options the 5 monts mark is still far wawy...

    Asking to see if you are in line can be done at any time. It's not the same as like, requesting some sort of special attention to your case.

    You can also submit on inline inquiry in the "Help" Section in your ELIS account, and they should respond within like a day. if the response is "Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews...." that usually means that you are in line. The best way to ensure if you are though is to simply call and ask for an L2.

    I made my call about 1 month after bio metrics, and was told I am in line. I'm just worried that something changed, as I know of another person who was told they were in line, but called again recently to find out they were still under "investigation" and they ALSO didn't receive the glitch notification.

    I, for one, will likely be calling again at some point in the near future.

    i haven't received an interview update, but I have not (yet) called, but I am thinking about calling later this week (then my case is active for 120 days)

    Let us know the results when you do please! I'm defiantly calling again myself, maybe friday.I've also submitted an online enquiry at the ELIS account.

    One of my theories is that this doesn't necessarily mean that backround checks aren't incomplete (why would I be told that I'm eligible for interview if I wasn't) but because some offices are so stuffed (Chicago for eaple) they haven't gotten to putting everyone in line yet.

    July / August IOE Filers Questions / Interview Glitch

    I heard that a lot of y'all got a false alarm "Interview Scheduled" and that it was decided that this was a the "In Line" for IOE applicants. I did not receive that notification, but towards the end of October called a L2 and found out I was In Line myself (also got that "Application information has been entered..." thing from the inquiry.) My priority date is 8/08 and my local field office is Chicago.
    I know that another user on another forum has posted that he called an L2 and was told he was in line, but called again recently and was told he was still under review and also has NOT received the false alarm. His priority date was 7/24.

    My question is: Have any of you NOT received this false alarm, like I myself have not? Did you guys confirm you were In Line by other means? What are your PO and field offices?

    It's really strange. I'm an August filer here, and spoke with an L2 officer back at the end of October who had confirmed I was "Eligible For Interview" but I didn't get that update...

    Should I call them again?

    I did see another person who had confirmed that they were in line, didn't get that update, and called them and heard that his file was still "under investigation".
