Hello,
I am currently filling out the i130 to apply for the CR1 so my wife can live with me in the US. I've gone through a bunch of threads and can't really find an answer to my question. So my wife is Mexican and on all her official paperwork (marriage licence, passport, etc..) she has both Paternal and Maternal last names which is standard in Mexico. She most likely won't take my last name but we agreed that we would like her to have her Green Card and other American documents with only her paternal name since that is what is mostly used in the US. Everything I've read shows that you should fill out the forms with the name it shows on her passport. Later in the process is there a way to specify that the Green Card only have her paternal last name? If not how can I go about having her green card with only that last name so all her other docs like SS and License can be with only one last name?
Thanks in Advance.
Does the Police Certificate need an Apostille?

I'm currently gathering the documents needed to send them to NVC. My wife got her police certificate in Mexico and I was wondering if the police certificate needs an Apostille.
