  1. I also have my International passport under my maiden name and Green Card under my new last name. All I had to do is to send my passport to the Russian Consulate and ask them to make a record in the passport that my last name has changed. It took about a week to do that. I never had any problems travelling. I always have my marriage livence and translation into Russian (would be Ukranian in your case) with me and was asked to show it only once at JFK airport. Other times I just showed the record in the passport. I'm not sure where exactly you can do it in Ukraine but I'm sure it could be done. Hope it helps :)

  2. Hello everyone :)

I have a question about filling out AOS form (I-864). I'm sponsoring my Mother but I've been unemployed for almost 3 years now and using my husband as a co-sponsor. His income is higher than poverty line requirement. But I was wondering if I should still list assets in I-864 so they see that I own something. Also, how do I include real estate as an asset? My husband and I own a house but it's not paid off yet. We had the house appraised 1 year ago, would the appraisal still be valid? How can we calculate the house' cash value?

Thanks to everyone who will reply :)
