  1. My gf and I are trying to fill out the K1 and she's in the states and I'm in Canada. We want to get this thing sent since we weren't able to when we originally planned a few months ago when I was there.

But now we are scratching our heads as to what the best way to get my signature on to the documents - and subsequently how to avoid any mistakes.

Can we reliably use services like dochub which have a signature feature for PDF editing to sign my name on our documents online and then just have her print those PDFs in the US and send it from there? Otherwise, we would have to print the documents, have me sign, then have me scan the doc back online to send to her to print and send in.

Which method is better, if the former is even possible for this sort of form.

  2. My girlfriend/fiancee is sponsoring me for a K-1 Visa. I have read recently that the I-134 only requires 100% income of the poverty line, but the Adjustment of Status to get my green card later requires 125% if I recall correctly.

EDIT: And I've read that some visas get delayed severely and require updated information if the consulate doesn't think the I-134 shows enough income. Referencing this link: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/free-books/fiance-marriage-visa-book/chapter3-4.html

Now, given her current job as a TA in grad school, she earns a small amount over the 125% line, but she has only been working there for about 1 month. We are just filing for our I-129f in a few days, and I seem to recall that the I-134 is only needed for the interview back in Canada. So she would have a number of months to reference for her work. If she holds such a new job, will that be sufficient for showing income?
