  2. There is no need for you to call the Embassy. You are within normal processing. Stay away from the phone. Just have patience. I'm not trying to be rude but we are all telling you to wait a little longer as everything is proceeding within a NORMAL processing. I just don't understand why you continue to be so concerned. Please relax.

It's okay.. I'm just being concerned about my status rather than not doing anything it helps me to lessened my worrying.. being a first timer for a k1 visa applicant experienced lots of emotions from worrying, confusions, nervousness,etc..that's why I seek for help.. anyways thanks!

  3. The law states only that you must have met in person within 2 years of filing the petition.

It does not say how long you must have been together. No specifics such as 1 minute, 1 day, 1 month.

So you met the requirement. However what they will look at is proof of relationship. How often do you communicate and by what method.

    Good luck

    Jim

I agree with him! When my fiancé visited me this year he only had 2weeks to spend time with me and we need lots of pictures together.. so we visit his relatives and did out of town to maximize his 2weeks vacation leave. The pictures are evidence for your genuine relationship..when then CO handed my documents in front of me during the interview he looked at our pics together and didnt ask anything.. Goodluck!

  4. Thank you everyone! Hoping and praying that I will have a good news this week.. my worrying has lessened and I'm planning to call the us embassy to follow up my status tomorrow.. have a blessed sunday to all!

  5. i got confused again with the status in ceac.. I'm worried about my status..after my interview went well the US consul told me to go to the IV to verify additional info of my documents the Filipino consul instructed me to submit another NBI clearance because of my birthday cert with correction and I need to put "AKA" on it.. so I received 221g but I keep my self not to get upset coz I know I did pass my interview and only my birth certificate and NBI clearance is my problem.. I did finish to submit my NBI and BC yesterday then when I looked at the CEAC website this morning they post that my case was "Issued" and now this afternoon it's "administrative processing" again! Do I need to get worried??? I'm so frustrated and upset..I was so happy this morning knowing that it was "issued".. and now this??!! do I need to get worried again?! Oh GOD!☹️️ I'm praying so hard right now☹️️

  6. Hi Guys,

Wondering if someone could help shed some light on this. My fiance and I got engaged and submitted our K1 application in early September. We received a receipt notice on September 14th 2016. I logged into the USCIS to check our status and got this message:

" On October 19, 2016, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACXXXXXXX. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Is this our NOA2? We didn't receive an NOA1 so not sure what stage this relates to. I'm waiting for the letter to come through to confirm but thought I'd see if anyone else has had a similar experience. I thought the approval stage usually takes 5-6 months??

Congrats! that was fast! best of luck!
