When is your interview date? When we got our interview date on Friday,  the rep said it would take 2-3 days for it to reach the embassy and that they didn't hold on to them long once it was scheduled.

Our interview date is March 27 th.  I'm hoping to call and get it moved up so we don't miss our first wedding anniversary.

    Interview date 3/28

Good luck on getting it moved up!

I have a question about registering your appointment online.  We sent to the site to register my hubby's London appointment and it kicked us out and said his case is not ready for an appointment yet. Anyone had this happen?

We tried to register my husband today for London and the same thing happened. Our case number wasn't accepted because the case wasn't ready. I am assuming that it may take a few days for things to get updated since we have only gotten our interview dates Friday. Will try again Monday

Nope.  I called 3 times last night when I saw everyone else here getting theirs.  Each rep told me they hadn't seen any London interviews scheduled yet.  The last rep I spoke with actually sounded confused about that and mumbled about not knowing what was going on with the London embassy.

    I'm kind of concerned.

I called yesterday too and got the same sort of response. I am feeling concerned too. I wish there was a way to just ask the embassy what is going on.

  4. Does anyone know what is causing the delays at the NVC?

I tried to ask yesterday if the delays are widespread and was told that they wouldn't discuss that with me. Why give us information that could potentially put our mind at ease right?

    Scan date November 28th

asked to be put on supervisor review was told my case was already with the review department since December 22nd. But I get conflicting info from them so I have no Idea where my case really is.

    2 items:

    1. Birth Certificate for my wife.  I don't know what the problem is.  It was translated and notarized....

    2.  Divorce degree for my wife.  In Taiwan, divorces are not always handled by courts.  A couple simply writes the agreement on a paper after signing it along with witnesses.  Then the paper is submitted to the Household Registration Office for her district.  The Household Registration Office then records the divorce. We sent a copy of the official Household Registration document (provided by them) which clearly shows my wife was legally and officially divorced.

My attorney sent both those documents to NVC.

I'm now waiting to see how my attorney is going to fix this.

How long will this delay our case?  Another 8 weeks???

I had an issue with my husbands UK birth certificate as well. The NVC requires a long form birth certificate which is not a standard issue for births in the UK. Originally sent in what he was given to him at birth but was later notified that we had to request the correct format form the UK registrars office. Maybe you have a similar issue?

OMG I got a checklist today for THE DUMBEST reason!!! I know it is my fault, but still I am so annoyed as I know it will reset the CC timeline, and it is literally the stupidest most idiotic simplest thing. AND what was my checklist for? I-864 pages 10-12.... which I did not need to use.... so they will be blank. Our case will be delayed for an additional 6 weeks while they review BLANK FORM PAGES. :jest:

Did you not include pages 10-12 or did you leave them blank?
