Yes. I was just trying to send a picture of it.
It is from Homeland Security and customs. Has her visa type and a 9 digit number beginning with A.

My wife was issued an IR1 visa. My understanding was she would be given a stamp in her passport that would work as a green card until the actual one arrives.
She didn't get such a stamp when she arrived.
Did I get my info right about this?

My daughter was born in Thailand.
She has never been to the U.S., but has a U.S. passport.
My wife in distressed because she thinks my daughter has to have a physical done before coming and that she will have problems entering the U.S. on a U.S. passport because there are no stamps in it.
Does my daughter need a physical? Will it be a problem entering the country?
I'm certain the answer is 'no' to both. But, I'm just the husband. What do I know?
thanks

Oh, my mistake.
I meant, do I need to use the 2015 returns I used withe the affidavit or the 2016 returns that were just filed.
thanks.

On the checklist for the interview, it says to bring the most recent U.S. federal tax return.
Since the interview will be after the 2017 filing date, does this mean we need the 2017 returns or the 2016 returns that we used on the affidavit?
thanks.

Yeah, that's a good idea.
thanks.

Thanks.
It would be really great if they would be a little more descriptive of what is acceptable.
Another place they don't explain clearly is that if the sponsor has a joint return, you have to submit BOTH W2's even if only one of them is the sponsor.
It has taken us 2 years to get to the interview stage. If I make a mistake that delays things, she's just might quit the whole thing and unfriend me on Facebook.

I'm putting together the documents my wife will need for her interview.
Throughout the documentation about what is needed, they have put 'original' in bold text, as to highlight that the documents need to be originals.
She has copies that were notarized by the Thai government. Are these considered 'originals'?
thanks

Hey,
I'm looking for a complete list of acceptable doctors and hospitals for doing the health screening in Thailand. My wife, who is Thai, has met people who said the local government hospital can do it, but the lame-### company who is supposed to be helping tells me there are only 5 doctors in the entire country who can do it and they are all in Bangkok.
If anyone knows specifically of places in southern Thailand, that would be great.
thanks

My wife went on Tuesday. Took no time at all and she paid 150b. I thought it was supposed to be free, but 150b is not really any big deal.
"she could pick it up in person in a few weeks" - I think that is the normal processing time. They gave my wife a date about 30 days from when she went in.

Thanks.

What paperwork did you need for the Thai police clearance?
I got a list of items from the US website, but my wife got a longer list of items on a Thai site.
One of the items is "spouse's paperwork" - No idea what this is.
thanks.

It is on a different page and doesn't touch the visa sticker at all.
Ok. Thanks guys.
This site has been way more help than the bozo's I paid to help with this.
