  1. Hello,

I came in the US on a k1, we are now on AOS stage. I'll probably get my AP in November. We are thinking about going back to my country, we don't know for how long. I know AP is valid for a year. I could come back for my GC interview. My question is: If we decide to stay at my home country for long term, how will I be able to come back to the States with my husband if we wanted to?

  2. First of all thank you for your replies. I know I have to wait till I get a job. I am a nail technician, I have my Greek Certificate but I would like to take classes in US too since I want to see how they work there. So I have to wait for that as well? Do i apply for an application if I wanna study? Im sorry I'm a little lost right now.

  3. Hello,

Im not sure if Im the right forum, Im sorry if I'm not. Im going to the US soon. I just want to ask if it's okay for me to work or study  while I'm on a k1 visa. Of course I will marry my fiance within 90 days of my arrival in the US. I just don't feel like sitting around and wait for him to come back from work. I would like to do something, legal of course. Do you think it will be suspicious or anything when I apply for my green card?

  4. Hello everyone, my interview is in March and I'm really worried about it because of what's going on with the travel bans.Trump is coming up with an other travel ban next week . My  County wasn't in it last time.I know no one knows yet what it will be like but what do you think? Im from Greece, and I'm doing a k1 visa. Do you think it will affect my petition? Im really scared.

  5. Im sorry I don't think you understand, I put my address in all forms, but not the one that I live currently with my fiance, I put the one that I used to live before my fiance even get here. Im just asking if this will be a problem. Because I want to show them evidence that I've been living with my fiance currently. I have all the bills from the house etc.

  6. Hello everyone and happy new year!!

So I have a question, I've been living with my USC fiance in my country currently and I never put the address that we live in any of the information because we just rent the place till we leave. I will mention that we've been living together and bring bills etc of this apartment as evidence that we live together but do you think it's a problem that I never put this address on any of the forms? :'(

I still have to fill out DS-2001 form with my address.

  7. Hello,

My fiance's parents will be co-sponsors and we will show and sent their bank statements and tax returns to the embassy. All I wanna ask is, my fiance is currently unemployed and he will show his tax returns for this year when he was employed,is it okay if he doesn't show his bank statements since they're not that good and since we will show our co-sponsors'?

  8. Hello,

So my fiance is a USC, he is currently unemployed because he is living currently with me in Greece. He has a bad bank account and bad balance, we will put his parents as co-sponsors, they are retired but they have more than enough in their bank accounts to support both of us till my fiance is financial stable. My fiance is worried about if he needs to show his bank statements and the amount that he has right now to the Embassy , do you think it will affect the visa???

  9. Hello,

I've just received the letter from embassy saying that I have to collect some documents and send documents to them and in those documents this is included :

.''EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP: You may be asked to submit proof of a valid fiancé/fiancée relationship with your petitioner. It is, therefore, useful to bring with you letters, photographs, or other evidence of your engagement.''

Does that mean I have to send them this evidence or just to bring them with me in the interview???

  10. Hello,

It's been a month since the NVC forwarded our case to the US Embassy in Greece but I have not received any additional information or received a package for the next steps. We tried calling the US Embassy in Greece but could not speak to anyone without an Applicant ID. Should I do a DS-160 Application now even though I have not received the package from the US embassy yet?
