Agree no immediate visa number available, file asap so he does not age out.
Exactly how old is he and how long has he been out of status.
He is 18
He has been out of status for 5 months we both had Court cases involving my husband that ended two months ago

Good day to you,
I am a permanent resident and I would like to know if I can file for my son who is here with me.
Me and my husband have been married for several years but recently separated (not legally) due to drug use and domestic violence.
My son Visa has expired as my husband had promised to file his paperwork several times, but did not.
Can I file his paperwork ? Due to his Visa expired would this affect me filing for him. Please assist me as I would like to do the right thing due to financial constraints it is a bit hard to get a lawyer at this time.
He is 18 years old

We lived together for two years even after I found out he was on drugs it was rough for the second year as he would have mood swings, lost his job, car etc but we stayed together until his mom got him in a treatment facility

Good day to you,
I have been married to my husband for two and a half years now and have a son together. After getting married my husband got addicted to drugs and alcohol we had some really hard times he is now in rehab.
I have gotten my date for my green card interview but he is not willing to come I got a letter from the rehab that he is still receiving treatment so I called USCIS to reschedule and got a confirmation number.
But talking to my husband he is saying he have no plans of coming to where we live for now as he will be getting a job where he is and it's fourteen weeks of training just all excuses.
Am so worried what can I do as it seem he has no intention of going to the reschedule interview.... Please help me -

Hello Friends please help me can i file an VAWA after filing my adjustment is status package. ..please I need your advise asap!
My husband is now in a drug rehab center in a different state but initially he started the filing process and now awaiting an EAD card....my husband became very emotionally and physically abusive after our son was born he started drinking then it led to taking drugs....
We have been married two years now and have been having problems especially financial as his lifestyle has cost him his job etc.
We have no insurance no bills nothing together as prove of our marriage only pics and my son..
We have no lease together as we lived with his mom as to save up to get our own place...
I want to leave before his 60day program ends am afraid he won't attend the interview with me am so confused (so much more I can't say)

I understand this is just one of the outcome of being with an abusive controlling individual
I think I may have to speak with a lawyer as to what to do
I have spoken to friends and family about what's been going on even his mom is fully aware as she has had to come to my aid many times ...just so confused
There is much more I can't say things that happened between us but I will consult a lawyer to see what I should do
Thanks so much for your help!
