Hey guys,

This is my second question here and I apologize if someone has asked this, but I've been looking on the forum and I found nothing to what I'm trying to ask.

So for the G325A form for the part of where my parents were born, my dad was born in Santa Maria del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico.

Santa Maria is a small town, not a city and Jalisco is the state...at least that's what my dad has said and I don't think I can put all of that "Santa Maria del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico" typed on the form. Can I just put Guadalajara since it's the capital of Jalisco and maybe the people looking at the form will recognize it? Idk..and same goes with my fiance who's father is from a small town outside of Barranquilla, Colombia.

Would we just put the nearest city? Or do we have to put the small town name?

On form G325A it asks only for city and country. So if I were you I would put the small town name (Santa Maria del Oro) and the country (Mexico). That is the truth of where your father was born. Good luck

Hello everyone

I sent our I-129 on September 26th to the Dallas Lockbox by priority mail, received in Dallas on the 29th (according to tracking info) and now waiting for NOA1....and trying not to count the days for more notifications lol....Nice to see all of you in the same September boat!
