My I-485 category is F2B, and the petitioner is my mother.
My priority date is 10/xx/2010 and the current final date is 03/15/2010. So I have about 7 months left till my priority date becomes current (assuming that the final action date will move at least 4 weeks every month).
Of course, I filed as soon as the USCIS started letting applicants file early.
Oh, and I hold an F-1 visa and have never been out of status. The petitioner has always lived with me in the US.
I have just been scheduled for an interview at my local office, according to the case status tracker on the USCIS website.
Is it normal for F2B applicants to be interviewed? and also is it normal to have an interview so early in the process?
