How frustrating. I spoke to someone and the beneficiary received the call in letter at their mailbox in Ghana.

I have no idea why the inconsistency in their procedures. Beneficiary at embassy now, picking up packages 3 & 4. We will see how it goes.

Guys, this process is becoming expensive by the day. Last month, I called the accredited hospital to inquire about charges, they told me ghc 1;300. Well, we finally received our call letter yesterday and I asked my beneficiary to call and book an appointment in case one is needed. Well Pricies have increased to ghc 1,850, they accept walk-in. I also read the visa fee is increasing on December 23. These guys are really making money off us. I pray that we all get our money's worth by getting approved.

How long did it take from the case arriving at the embassy to getting the call letter?

Case arrived at embassy on September, 1. Received call letter on October 25.

Hello everyone , am just wondering if anyone in here is still waiting on their call in letter. It seem ours is taking longer than expected. They recived our case on July 13 and updated on their site on July 19 up to date we haven't received a letter or seen any changes to know the next step.

My fiance and I have contacted them through emails. last time I was told they have some backlog but will get to ours as soon as possible it's been a month now making it 3month all together still nothing. Is anyone facing similar problem. Can the US election play part in all this ?

After the long wait, I received our call-in-letter here in the States, I don't know why they sent it to me. I have scanned and emailed to beneficiary. It's requesting that she drops th letter at 7am on any wednesday, then return to pick up packages at 2pm same day. Then we will know her interview date.

No call letter as of now

I received the call-in-letter yesterday, I have scanned it to the beneficiary. It requests the beneficiary to present same at the embassy on a wednesday to pickup packets 3/4, then I will know her interview date.

It should be in by now, I and another member here received ours this week. Let your fiance(beneficiary) check his local post as well.

I don't know what a call in letter is.

So on Friday, I called my senator's office. They took my details and made me sign and fax an information release form with details of my case. Interestingly, my case status was updated today. So what were they waiting for ?. Smh.

I'm still waiting just like you. But from what I read it takes about 6-8 weeks to get it scheduled, I believe for Akua38 she was lucky and a little earlier. I'm just trying to be hopeful but patient. I told myself I would wait until after the first week of October to start with emails. What has your timeline been like?

coincidentally, we have the same timeline. My only missing point is how to determine when the consulate received the package. If its the last case update, then it's same as your's. Someone needs to share the experience regarding the interview date, do we schedule it ourselves or is it part of their services to us. ?

Yea try that and maybe give it another 2 weeks or so? if not then maybe you can take the emails and CAEC case status report to the embassy and see if they will let you pick it up? That's all I can think of at the moment...

So did they schedule your interview or you had to do that yourself ?

My case reached the embassy on 9/1/16 as well! I believe she said that her beneficiary fiance got the letter in his mail then used it to go to the embassy to pick up package 3 & 4.

Interview date is December 14th

What sort of notification did you get, the last update on my case is 01-Sept.-2016 and I am yet to receive any form of notification whatsoever. The Accra embassy hasn't responded to my emails as of now. What do you suggest I do, please.
