We are currently in the US my country of origin.

Where are the two of you right now?

If you have a B1/B2 Business Visa with multiple Entries and Exits for 5 years with 6 month intervals. Is it necessary to exit back to your country of origin in order to return to the states or can you visit another country and then re-enter into the country of your visa pass?

My husband-to-be has a B1/B2 Visa with Multiple Entries for 5 years.

He can stay in the country for 6 month intervals.

We have decided to get married and want to know if he will need to file a K1 or go straight to the "Adjustment of Status"?

Also, If he files for the K1/Adjustment of status will it effect his current visa and if so, how?
