Hi my husband is a PR BY birth (S13 native indian no borders apply to him. Hes free to live/work in either country) and he applied to sponsor me (i130) it was recently approved.
1. We both live in Vancouver Canada and he works in Washington state.
2. I have a criminal record. 2 petty theft charges from 01/02 ish. I have a 5 year waiver and I go to the states every week.
3. What will happen at my visa interview? Will I be denied? If so what are my actual chances of being approved for the i601?
We are planning to purchase a house in Washington state in 2018. Even if I am denied I can still live there for 6 months out of a year.
I'm not sure we have enough reasons to even qualify for the i601. Only reasons I can think of is the fact we can't afford a home here (crappy houses go for 1 million), my children will be moving even if I can't (better schools and opportunities), my husband will suffer a hardship of having to continue travelling the far distance to work.
Need advice PLEASE!!
