  1. I have a question!

My fiance is a bit hesitant to get the 8-10 vaccines she needs. She is afraid to get some sort of reaction from all the shots at once.

Has anyone here taken multiple shots at once?

Are we able to spread them out? Take some in her country then finish the rest in the States?

Please let me know so i can comfort her. I know its not going to kill her but shes still worried.

    Thanks

Luckily I had to do only one but I'm pretty sure they won't do all shots at once. There should be an option to do them while in the US though
  2. Don't worry!! You're K1, right? The instructions on CEAC's tracker are a bit confusing; its telling you to pay an invoice and submit a DS260 right? That is only for the IR1/CR1 Immigrant visa- technically, the K1 is a non-immigrant visa with "intent to immigrate" because the visa is only good for 90 days, when it's assumed you'll marry and apply for AoS. You can ignore those instructions. In a couple of days, your status will adjust from At NVC to In Transit- no further paperwork or payments required :) this freaked me out too, to i did some research on that DS260 and saw only IR1 petitioners were filling it out. Your fiancé/e can still use the case number to book their medical and fill out the DS160 for their home country. Check your embassy's forum for tips and instructions :)

Omg I was high key freaking out about it. Makes sense now, thank you!!! I'm beneficery actually. Was able to book my med exam without giving them case# ?

Btw we should all just get together and throw a huge party once we are there. This whole thing is so nerve racking lol ??

  3. Guys, I need someone's help who already has their case number. So I thought that with this number you are basically good to go (medical exam and interview are last steps) but I just tracked our case and it is still at NVC and will stay there until we pay fees, submit forms and documents directly to NVC and only then will they be able to send it to the embassy. And that can take weeks. Crazy if so... :o

  4. my fiance got his police cert before we got the case # just to expedite things, but i think the medical is the longest "wait period" between now and your interview. supposedly it takes 1-2 weeks for them to send the report to the embassy. So get that knocked out asap and then your wait will be shorter. I think that's universal- again, not really sure.

I've been to Estonia though, and it's very pretty! good luck to your partner :)

I got my police certificate already :)

Thank you! Tallinn is really beautiful indeed
